Bar Silverball reviews
16This is not a good place they kick you out for no reason an don’t tell you why honestly feel discriminated then treated as an customer
Bouncer was an insecure weirdo who got offended when I jokingly asked how old he was. He got weirdly aggressive. Could benefit from hiring adults. Also not accessible to people in wheelchairs.
Maddie was amazing! We came on a Sunday when they had Drink or Sink. We felt so welcome, Maddie took care of us and gave us drink ideas, and we even a few drinks for $1 thanks to her flipping skills:) we will definitely be back!
After them Daquiris my gang and I throat started hurting the syrup in them was coating to thick in my throat yuckkk. There was no liquor all syrup in the drink.
What was once a place centered on pinball, hence the name, is now focused on everything but. Most games off and those that are on have issues soon to be shut off. A shame. But hey business is business, so.sell your games to places that will appreciate them. Best to change bar name to Silverdollar.
Arguably my favorite bar. The games are a nice change of pace but their prices for drinks are amazing. Their bartenders make the best Jack and Coke I've had
BUSTEDball is the proper name of this place. If you like pinball you will be greeted with a graveyard of pinball machines. There are more broken pinball games here than the ones that do work (and many of the working ones stick). Many of the machines at BUSTEDball have not worked FOR MONTHS or I have never seen them working at all!
When this place first opened there were twice as many pinball machines and old-school arcade games, and they worked (see the review below from 3 years ago).
If you want to play some great working, clean pinball machines walk down the street to Shakespeare’s they have 3 clean working machines that are taken care of. If they malfunction at Shakespeare’s they are promptly fixed or swapped out with a working machine. You also get a better deal at Shake’s too where $2 gets you 3 credits.
If you’re looking for a true barcade keep on I-70 and go to a proper one in KC or St. L where there are a plethora of clean working pinball machines and old-school arcade games. The barcades in KC and St. L are a better deal too for the amount of play you get for your buck.
The servers at BUSTEDball are great though. But if a machine takes your money or doesn’t work, the servers cannot give you back your credit. This was the case for the Skeeball on the right side upstairs (it tends to not give you all the balls).
I just want to say this is not a negative against the staff. They were polite and helpful. However, Silverball was a disappointment. Over half the games we attempted to play were broken or lost internet connection. The toilet in the bathroom I went to was broken and attempted to shoot water back at me. The drinks are great though and like I mentioned the staff i interacted with were helpful.
It's okay place to go. Drinks are fair priced and games are fun. However someone spilt a drink on the stairs and the 3 hours I was there no one picked it up.
Nice! Decently priced drinks, informative work staff, inexpensive food menu, and comfortable atmosphere! Love this place over many years in Columbia! MIZ ZOU!
I rented out the private room and there was poor communication with the staff. I also wanted to buy more bands and they wouldn’t let me. I felt like the managers on duty we’re rude and not helpful at all. The only person that did an amazing job was the bartender. It wasn’t worth the money. I would not recommend doing events here.
I want to love Silverball, but it is in need of a little TLC. The drinks are great, but lots of the games have issues. Broken pinball machines, sticky air hockey tables, and machines taking your credits.
Silverball used to be really fun. A lot of the machines upstairs are gone and we saw a roach that was so big it was thought to be a mouse crawl across the floor. Our fishbowl of slushy also had bugs in it.
What a neat place! If you're looking for an arcade to play in while drinking with friends, I definitely recommend Silverball!
This is a fun spot. There are a number of activities you can do here reasonably during covid. The clientele is usually quite friendly and the staff is always very helpful and supportive. Although endlessly challenging they specialize in prioritizing the customer comfort and safety of every unique group. Needs can be met professionally here.people underestimate silverball and they should not. I know firsthand that you can create the climate that you need to be comfortable here. They take the covid precautions very seriously.and they're also able to accommodate in special circumstances areas that require excessive cleanliness of other privacy/security. They don't bend the rules for anybody.period. When I say a professional organization I mean a professional organization. Security here is top notch and ultra accommodating. They will literally give you whatever high level of service you need. Definitely an impressive place. A+ period. Everybody please visit this place as you can for there is always a queue. If you're high quality you're willing to come back later or wait. Spread the love and peace. Be tolerant. With love from one of your most graciously thankful customers.
Oh yeah. Remember in grade school. The recess monitor? Yeah, these guys are all lifeguards. So please dress for the beach.
