Sin in Skin Tattoo Collective reviews
20I've gotten my bellybutton done twice and they are so kind and I recommend this place for a periceing here
I had the most amazing experience today. The shop is calming, beautiful, and comforting. I went and got two tattoos. James came in just to take my friend and I as a walk in. Bri (I hope I’m spelling that correctly!) was friendly, insightful, and had a ton of knowledge about different questions I had! James’s kind demeanor and amazing work has made me decide to make this shop where I get all future ink! I will be recommending to friends and family!
They were so incredibly rude but side step the bedside manner here, they pierced my lip so badly it was crooked and caught on my teeth nonstop, to the point it was tearing my lip. I had to have it taken out and another place helped me heal and pierced the opposite side because the knot on the side they pierced will probably never fade. The place that fixed me was a thousand times more sanitary and professional! If only someone had warned me! Don’t go in! Don’t do it! Save your face!
This was an amazing experience! I am 16 years old and I went with my mother to get a mother-daughter tattoo. Our artist Mike was phenomenal, we came in with our own special custom tattoo idea and he did the best job ever for making our ideas come to life. He is honest with what he thinks is the best for us. When getting our ideas in, he told us what was bad and good for ideas and helped mold our vision to be the greatest. He truly does care and wants everything to be perfect, he even attached the stencil onto my mother's arm thrice to make sure it was 100% perfect. This was my first tattoo and he made the experience all worth it, without the experience and kindness of Mike, this tattoo would have hurt a lot more than it did. Thank you for your services!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience went in to get a spontaneous tattoo with some friends and everyone there was so friendly and super helpful! I ended up getting a Cardinal that came out absolutely amazing! Aiden couldn’t have done a better job super light handed and had great conversation during the tattoo! Definitely would come back! Truly appreciate it!
Aiden did my tattoo and he is phenomenal. He was able to squeeze me in and I really appreciated it. I hope to get more from him.
Aiden did mine. He was great and nice to talk to. I did figure out that I screwed him on his tip, but I did give his son money for his birthday, so I hope Aiden forgives me.
I had an amazing experience with Aiden. Booking my tattoo was easy, prices were incredible, and the tattoo came out better than I could ever imagine. The shop is beautifully decorated and clean. I definitely plan on coming here for my next one. I also got a lip piercing here a while back and it was just as amazing, highly recommend!
Here is my initial review based off my only experience at Skin to Sins Tattoo parlor in House Springs Mo.
Since I am new to Jefferson County I did a FB shoutout for a referral as to who was a good recommendation in my area (I reside in Eureka). I know, I know, bad mistake to do a shoutout.
But, I learned from it.
Now I used to patronize a tattoo parlor in University City Mo. However, my tattoo artist has since cut ties with them as he is no longer an affiliate/employee, but I’ll get back to that later.
I went into Skin Sins Tattoos last October (sorry I am not very Google prompt with my reviews here lol) with my then 14yo daughter to have her nose jewelry changed & inquire about some tattoo work for myself. The piercer was friendly & did seem knowledgeable as they had a nice selection of body jewelry. Success! After that though, everything just collapsed. I asked who here specializes in Asian style tattoos & they all pointed me to the ‘lead artist’
As I was consulting with this ‘lead artist’ about the process of getting a sleeve drawn up. He began the conversation right outta the gate, with basically himself consistently stroking his own ego in front of the staff by informing me as how he was the best in the area & nobody could ever come close (ok, well confidence is good I like that). However, when I asked to look at some of his recent tattoo work, I wasn’t even 3 views in to realize, this is NOT who I want to do my other sleeve.
Especially his Asian tattoos!
I mean his work wasn’t terrible, I have seen worse. But, it just wasn’t the quality of work I would consider wearing on a large scale. But, maybe I could still get something small right?
WRONG!
Because I then showed him my 3/4 sleeve that was done nearly 20yrs ago (yes I kept it covered under my jacket until this point as to see how they would talk to me while thinking I was some clueless guy ignorant on tattoos).
And he immediately went into defense mode & began belittling it! Seriously!? !
Especially pointing out some of the ‘faded spots’ Now mind you my sleeve is nearly 20yo (full color/dragon/koi fish/waves/cherry blossom) true, It does show some age. However, it is far from faded. Not to mention the artist who originally did it, is indeed a world known master in Japanese style tattooing. A true professional so to speak. But like I said, my original artist has since moved on & I am not in the financial position of making a pilgrimage to Florida for tattoos.
So to have this guy go from I am the best tattoo artist in the universe. To just belittle a complete stranger/potential client speaks volumes of how this establishment operates.
To make the situation even worse, a sloven, green haired woman then butted right in & defended the guys art as well as his rude behavior!? She showed us a tattoo he had done on her face (I’m not trying to be mean here, but I thought it looked like it was done in prison). It honestly wasn’t good at all.
I also sure hope she wasn’t an employee there, because that type of management will ruin any establishment.
So needless to say I will never again do a FB shoutout to find another tattoo parlor. Let alone frequent another one in Jefferson County.
And I will definitely NEVER refer anyone to get a tattoo in this place. However the body piercer was nice & seemed chipper. Also, the shop did smell like someone had been smoking high grade marijuana shortly before we came in, which I thought was extremely tasteless.
Maybe if they drop the ego to focus more on elementary level art, then maybe their work will be up to par in say another 20 years.
Overall: 2 thumbs way down, extremely disappointed for lack of professionalism and any artistic talent.
Bonus Hint: use air freshener in your business from now on.

My experience at Sin in Skin was well worth time spent.
Clean and well kept business. The staff / owner were welcoming and interacted well with each other and with the customers (myself included).
As for my experience with the tattoo artist (Aiden). I am very satisfied with work Aiden did for me. As well as his patience and diligence in his work. Aiden showed a genuine passion for his work. Aiden was also a level-headed, down to earth person who was easy to converse with.
All-in-all. I will undoubtedly return when I get another tattoo and I will absolutely request Aiden. I will also refer any of my friends / family / colleagues / acquaintances to Aiden.
Thanks Aiden and thanks Bree, highly satisfied.
We did a walk in for mother daughter tattoos. Everyone was very nice from start to finish. We got James and he did an excellent job! His area was clean, sanitized,
and organized. He was very calm and laid back, which helped a couple of nervous ladies with their first tattoo.
Went to get my lobes redone for the first time and JT was so nice and did amazing! The piercings are even and feel great just after day one, thank you!
Aiden is amazing! He did 3 cover ups for me and let me just say I am beyond happy with the results!
Aiden was my tattoo artist and he was very cool and clean. Couldnt have asked for a better artist
I took my Daughter for her 18th Birthday and she loved the tattooist and was comfortable enough to actually talk instead of myself.
My tattoo artist was aiden he did an amazing job on my tattoo i was so happy with oitcome and will definitely be coming back
This tattoo shop was so inviting and the tattoo literally exceeded all my expectations! I will be coming back for sure!
I got 2 stars done by aiden and he was so nice and understanding. I was by myself and don’t react well to getting tattoos and he was very patient and kind with me.i was a walk in and he squeezed me in even though he only had an hour or 2 before the next client.overall very grateful for him and will definitely be coming back to him for my next tattoo.
Y'all! I cannot believe what an amazing experience I had at this establishment. This was my first time getting a colored tattoo. I was super nervous and had tons of questions Aiden answered all my questions (without judgment) and really put my mind at easy. Although Aiden is new to Sin to Skin he is not a new Airst and it truly shows. He puts so much time and energy on every piece he works on. His craftsmanship is near prefect and he still finds things improve on and his customer service skills are impeccable. I will forever be going back to him and he comes highly recommended!
Artist: Aiden
I got a glaceon tattoo for my 31st birthday yesterday and I think Aiden did amazing he was friendlyto talk to during the appointment and lighthanded while tattooing and my tattoo looks better than the initial drawing I brought in I can't wait to come back for more work.
