We have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with all aspects of training at Sit Now Stay. We utilized their day training program and have been attending the ongoing grad classes to address some behavioral issues with our golden retriever (pulling on leash, listening, barking at door, getting really excited with other dogs). The trainers use tools to reinforce good behavior while discouraging undesirable behavior in a way that is fair to the dog with the goal of the dog understanding what the expectations are.

It was really important to me that I felt our dog was trained in a way that worked with his sensitive nature and I’ve been thrilled with our experience.

I’ve seen them work with reactive dogs during our group classes, and it’s been amazing to see reactive dogs improve in group settings.

Shout out to Kat and Sarah who have worked with us hands on to help us understand how to work with our dog at home and beyond, and train us to think like a trainer when we are interacting with our dog. Dog ownership and companionship is so much more fulfilling when we learn to communicate with our dog by speaking their language.

Five stars, locally owned, highly intelligent and competent trainers, and reasonable pricing.

Incredible experience for my puppy and I! I have been very impressed with the staff's knowledgeability surrounding dog thought processes and their inclusiveness of me, the owner, in my puppy's training. I will be coming here for all of my future training needs and recommending Brianne to anyone that needs to train their puppy!

Malachi and I have been working with Brianne and Sara with Sit now Stay for over a year. He’s also worked with Lauren and Cat and they all have made such a huge difference in both of our lives. I got him at six months and he hadn’t met any dogs or people before. I had no idea how serious of a problem this would be. I’ve learned a lot about how to be a good dog mom, and how to structure Malachis life to set him up for success. They’ve always made us feel welcome and helped me feel empowered in doing the right things as an owner. I can honestly say we would not be where we are as dog and owner without Sit now Stay. We did board and train and now do group classes and I have definitely seen progress. I wish I could do more than just say thank you.

We love Sit Now Stay dog training. We take our dog, Lacey to the group classes and have been through the 2 week day training program. Lacey loves the trainers and is always excited to be there. Love Sara and Kat! We look forward to the AKC God Canine Test and dock diving!

I absolutely love the trainers at Sit Now Stay! They're always so friendly and helpful, and clearly love the animals. I took my Golden retriever to them for some help in making him a better social boy after 2 years of pandemic isolation and loved them so much I now take both my dogs twice a week for Muscle Mutts. They're so patient and cater to each dog's needs individually. I cannot recommend them enough!

My dog came from a ranch and had never met another dog. He was very reactive and we had a hard time passing other dogs during our walks. After attending our sessions we now enjoy hiking the neighborhood! Thanks so much for helping us in such a short time! We love because you changed our life for the better.

We adore Sit Now Stay. We haven’t used them for training (yet) but their boarding program has been so good to us. There are so many reasons why we love this place:

- We might occasionally need something last minute, and they’re usually able to accommodate.
-They’re available via text to make reservations which is incredibly convenient and they’re always quick to respond during business hours.
- We always opt to put Maverick into their Muscle Mutts program to keep him active and he always comes home exhausted and trim. Long walks and the treadmill seem to be his favorite.
- They will send “report cards” every other day with photos/video and a short blurb about their day and behaviors, which I just think is adorable. We love to see and keep up on our goofy boy.
- They are so accommodating if we are traveling and need to adjust our pickup times on Sunday.

We know our little man can be a crazy handful at first, but we are so comfortable and at ease knowing that when we drop him off, he’ll be taken care of! Thank you so much!

We've had week 1 of our training with Otis. I can honestly say we've noticed a difference already. He's a pretty active Australian Sheppard Blue Heeler mix and loves going to "school". The trainers are awesome with him.and us! Looking forward to week 2!

Great team of trainers that had patience working with Luna, a very nervous dog. She has made a major improvement in walks and being a more confident dog overall. Kat and the team were a big help!

We brought our dog- Flash- to get some training. All of the trainers did an excellent job with him. We also did the 2 one-on-one sessions with the trainer and they did a really good job explaining Flash’s behavior and helped us develop ways to continue Flash’s training at home. This place was amazing and I would highly recommend them.

BUYER BEWARE. I hired Sit Now Stay to help train my puppy to be a Service Dog. I investigated SNS prior to purchasing a puppy (June 2021), and spoke with their SD trainer Sierra. I was originally told that the package was $4,975 and included Three 3-week Board & Train sessions, plus unlimited lifetime group lessons (which were suspended due to covid). However the original contract I signed was not a contract for Service Dog training, it was only for a single Board & Train session, but the price was handwritten as $4,975. I never should have signed it when it did not spell out what I was paying for, but my disability causes me extreme anxiety and an inability to stand up for myself. Ultimately my dog had one 3-week B&T at ~16 weeks old, which trained her for ordinary puppy obedience, most she already knew (housebreaking, crate training, sit, lie down, etc). Sierra then left SNS, and Sara took over my dog's training. My dog had a second 3-week B&T with Sara, where I was told, "Now she is entering the Service Dog portion of her training. " She was successfully trained on command to do Deep Pressure Therapy, tuck beneath a chair, and brace. My dog did quite well (received almost daily video updates while she was there), and Sara asked me to make a list of what tasks I wanted her to learn. But when I approached them with what I wanted my dog to learn in her third B&T, I was informed there was no third B&T, and her SD training was over. From their website as of today, their SD training includes, "retrieving and picking up items, Opening and shutting doors, Performing messenger tasks, Offering mobility and counterbalance support, Recognizing medical emergencies, and Performing medical emergency task work. " She learned the task Brace, and to alert to panic. To my knowledge she learned no other tasks, and I taught her myself to retrieve, shut doors, and do deep pressure therapy. The SD training was very incomplete and teaching me how to be a SD handler to make us a real team was nonexistent. Basically it cost me almost $5,000 for her to learn two tasks. Group classes finally started back up (outdoors in the heat) in June 2022, but to my knowledge none of the dogs were there for service work, and it was more about exposure to other dogs than a training class. I am still working with my dog, and while she is just 1yo, she continues to learn as I teach her myself using free Youtube videos. Their website is outdated and still says emotional support dogs can go on airplane flights (they cannot), and includes videos of Sierra who doesn't even work there anymore. I do NOT recommend Sit Now Stay for SD training.
[ADDENDUM] Regarding response below:
Jedha knows 2 Service Dog tasks. I missed one private lesson (I mixed up the time), cancelled one group lesson, and never signed up for more when they changed scheduling systems. I have only gone to SNS by appointment. Brianne sent 1 email 06/14/22 with the same inaccurate/undetailed data as the contract. I couldn’t agree more with “never ever sign anything that is not exactly what was explained. ” I received 3-4 extra private lessons because, per SNS email of 11/21, “I am unable to offer group class…” I was turned away from a 3rd training that was originally described. I praised them when Jedha ignored a cat, and had two good PA trips. This is a review of my experience; I cannot review someone else’s. I never said, “what a wonderful experience this has been. ” I agree Jedha advanced in her PA obedience, but her training was not as originally described, the contract inaccurate for SD training, she was taught 2 tasks, and group lessons were unavailable for almost a year. Caveat Emptor.

Sit Now Stay has been a fantastic training experience for us! Our one year old Bernese was becoming difficult to walk on leash. Sarah, Lauren, and the whole crew have been wonderful. Our pup recently received his Canine Good Citizen and Spot obedience certifications. 10 out of 10!

We had a very good experience with our dogs here. They equipped the dogs as well as us with the tools to create better communication and an overall better relationship with them. We plan on further training and boarding as time allows. Thank you!

My Golden Retriever did the one week course and has been following up with the weekly one hour training classes. We are very happy with the training and the staff. Kat has been our instructor the last few sessions and is very organized and helpful. All of this has meant huge progress towards achieving our training goals. Money well spent.

I can’t recommend Sit Now Stay enough! We’ve done a 2 week board and train followed by the weekly graduate classes and I’m blown away at the improvement my dog has made! Brianne, Sara, and Kat are absolutely amazing! They meet you where you are with your dog and work toward YOUR goals with you. And if you hit a hard spot, they are always willing to give you one on one advice of different things to try. Before my pup went to them, he wouldn’t listen, was horrible on leash, had uncontrollable energy, and had a horrible fear of kids. After working with Sit Now Stay, he’s amazing! He listens, he has the best heal of any dog I’ve ever owned, and he’s no longer scared of kids and instead looks forward to being loved on by kids. He even got his CGC title and Rally title last week! And best of all I’ve learned how to harness his energy and work WITH him so we can constantly enjoy life together! I’m forever thankful and grateful for Sit Now Stay!
