Sleep Inn & Suites Indoor Waterpark reviews
18The pool was fun and heated, the service was very friendly, the breakfast was good, and our room was clean. Our bed was a bit tired, but still comfortable.
The customer service was not good. Called because the site I was looking at said call hotel for Waterpark hours. The guy, who identified himself as the owner and manager was very rude. After yelling telling me to go to the website, he apologized and finally answered. When I arrived, i had to wait for someone to check us in. Sofa sleeper was disgusting. Called about late check out and using Waterpark day of check out. That was a no. Someone checked me out so housekeeping walked in on us sleeping. Breakfast was jimmie dean frozen sandwiches. Kids did enjoy the waterpark, but the kiddie section was a lot colder than the bigger side of the pool. The 10 minutes they close the slide hourly was more like 20 minutes. Bed and furniture definitely outdated and worn. Will pay more to stay someplace else next time.
Beds are horrible! You can hear every spring when you move, rooms have a funny smell. “Continental Breakfast” was a joke - frozen biscuits, runny no flavor gravy, waffle batter comes from a machine and probably hasn’t been changed in awhile. No eggs, no sausage - frozen breakfast burritos, prepackaged honey buns, prepackaged muffins, cereal and juice. You can hear every door close and voice inside your room. Elevator kept jumping and acting like it was going to stop working at any minutes. The pool area looks a lot nicer in photos than it actually is, you can get the same thing minus the slide at any other hotel. Price of room DOES NOT match the accommodations given to guest. Not worth the money at all!
I was hesitant at first because of some poor reviews but I am SO glad we decided to book! We stayed three nights with 6,8,10 year old boys and it was perfect! We got the king suite and it was very clean. Some minor furniture updates are needed but it included tickets to their Waterpark. The waterpark was very well decorated and honestly the cleanest pool facility we've stayed at. The chlorine smell was stronger on the weekend but that's to be expected when the pool is packed. Lindsey at the front desk was so kind and courteous, Vicki at the waterpark was very sweet and helpful, and Lyric our housekeeper went above and beyond! I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone staying with kiddos in the KC area!
Was making plans to stay here this weekend clerk Cathleen rude unprofessional unhelpful support on answers, I wish to Cancel any stay here due to her cold empty racist poor support wrong field for Customer Service. Did not provide check in check out info. Service sucks not paying my money on poor service get more training tip.
The best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel very clean every one was so friendly and helpful located close to everything we needed. Pool was very well kept and clean. The kids and I had a blast.
Very nice hotel! Room was very clean, comfy beds! Soft sheet and pillows oh my gosh it was actually a pillow! Staff was amazing super friendly and attentive! It was a very busy Friday night and the girls working always had a smile when I saw them and working hard with check ins, cleaning, maintaining the pool! Oh and the swimming pool what a hidden gem! Super clean! My toddlers loved it! Definitely stay here if your passing through or want a staycation! Close to down town and lots of restaurants amd shopping about 2.5 miles away!
Thank you hotel staff for making are stay so enjoyable!
Booked a double queen bed room, when we checked in we were given a single bed room. Had to go back to the front desk to fix it (thank goodness I took screenshots of my reservation) got told the manager switched my room size reservation. Mind you I was still charged for the double bed room. The pool was great except for the the large party that wasn't paying attention to the older childrens behavior. Not sure if I would be willing to try staying again.
Two words " absolutely Horrible ". Now let me explain why. Bed is so freaking hard very old mattress. The walls have Bugers on them as well as the curtains in the bathroom. Everything in the room has dust on it and is dirty. Cob webs in the corners of the room. The tub is filthy. This is a nightmare
They did not offer a big variety of hot breakfast. The slide was not open for very long. The pool is only 3 feet deep which was good for 2 of my kids. Staff were friendly.
Rooms were decent. I think someone might have died in the bathroom if the room I had though. It has a very erie smell that never went away. The breakfast is mediocre. (Stale biscuits)
The beds a so comfy. Front desk staff Emily was pleasant. The blond lady who I assume is a manager was great as well. Pool is fun for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub and water slide. The breakfast sucks though. Other than that it was a great stay.
Very nice hotel! Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is okay, wish it would change up a little bit per day. Otherwise, nice place and location!
The water park (more like a nice pool) was alright and everything seemed clean but the room wasn’t kept to those standards. The hide-abed sheets were already used and stained. The couch cushions looked dirty and stained. The room could have been cleaned better and the furniture in them are getting old. The breakfast was pretty good. Everything was kept clean in there and it was open until 10. Overall we felt the stay was overpriced.
Came in unexpectedly due to delays in a business plan. It lasted a weekend and then some. The associates treated me really well, which helped ease much of my angst. I'm not from the area, yet they made me feel welcome, like I was home. Certainly enjoyed my stay.
When we arrived they checked us into a room that had not yet been cleaned. We carried all of our luggage and items into the hotel unlocked the door and found a dirty room with unmade beds and the mess left by prior guest. They moved our room. The following morning we woke to our room smelling of sewer. It was so bad we had to check out early! The manager started she would be contacted a plumber and she puked make it right. She instructed us to contact Expedia which is e have done. Expedia, is telling me to contactSleep inn. The manager has yet to return my calls either. Very disappointed for a hotel room that after taxes cost 285. There are much better places to stay in the area. I don’t recommend
Pretty good place to stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Stayed 1 night and left in the morning.
Great hotel for younger kids. It's the reason we went. Kids enjoyed themselves. Other than that it's your typical hotel. Rooms smelled a little funny and it's kind of outdated. But good for the price.
