SmartStyle Hair Salon reviews
7I love the convenience of getting a quality hair cut at my local Walmart. Kyla's professionalism was an added bonus. Thank you Walmart and thank you Kyla!
I booked an appointment online for this morning and I got there and I stood there for at least 10 mins before the girl working said anything to me she literally just let me stand there and then finally said "oh I can't log in and no one will answer the phone" so instead of her just telling me that she couldn't do my appointment she literally just let me stand there so I finally just left. I get things happen but it wasn't gonna hurt her to let me know my appointment wasn't happening instead of just letting me stand there waiting on nothing. So unprofessional.
She didn't listen to anything I said to her and
completely ignored the photos that my kids picked as references and she kept asking the kids if it wasbgood even though it wasn't at all what I said they wanted and my kids are too timid and afraid to say that they don't like it and every time I would speak up for them she just ignored me and now one of my daughters gets picked on for looking like a boy and she hates her cut even more. Don't ever go here she leaves their hair soaking wet and just does whatever she wants. I'd give zero if I give no stars if I could! Waste of 70$
I should have never gone here for a root touch up/bleach. I went to smart style because what I wanted was easy, and not difficult. I should have left at the beginning of the service and get my hair done elsewhere. I had about 3" of level 8 new growth and the lady only bleached the top half towards my scalp leaving a huge yellow band in my hair. Not only that but she was incredibly slow during the whole process and left the bleach on my SCALP for like an hour and a half. So my roots lifted to about a level 11, I have 1" level 8/9 band in my hair and the rest is about a 10. And my scalp is literally fried and over the course if the last months I've LOST about half my hair because of this. My scalp blistered and she washed my hair before bleaching it which I thought was weird. My hair is already short and had to recently cut off at least 2" and now I have to wait a LONG time to get my hair done because it's literally SO fried and falling out. If I could post a picture I would.
My 7 year old daughter has pictures coming up soon and really wanted to have her hair cut beforehand. Thinking the salon was open until 7, we showed up around 4: 15 thinking we got there in plenty of time for a quick cut. Kyla was the stylist and explained that she closes at 5 and had another cut already scheduled but would try to fit us in. We were able to stay and she was wonderful and never made us feel rushed. Thanks, Kyla! My kiddo loves her cut!
I scheduled online for 10am (the online hours show they open at 10 am)
When I arrived they were closed with a new set of handwritten hours.
I work 8-5 all week, so weekend days are my only option for a trim. Little disappointing.
