Smokestack BBQ

Meat was very mediocre. Corn was good. Prices much to high for quality of meat. Peach pie advertised.got apple without being told. Worker nice but saw several people leave because no one at counter.

Not real BBQ. Looked like dog food and tastes worse. Stay away if you have taste buds. Had to knock on window to place order.

Absolutely horrible food! Service was horrible as well! Honestly think the coleslaw was bad!

Food was great & the black brother ‍serving was class. Big truck stops like Loves & Flying J need less McD and more of these BBQ stores.

Tried to order ribs at 6: 15pm on Friday night and was told he could not fix them cause they were about to close, really it takes less than 15 min to reheat the ribs and hours say 5am to 11pm. Won't be going back

Ordered the burnt ends and the briaket meal. The burnt ends has alot of fat smothered in barbecue sauce.
The brisket had been put thru a grinder, ground to the texture of baby food and smothered in barbecue. No way to identify what the meat was but considerably more expensive.
2 employees visiting, as no customers were in there and the serving area was filthy as were the tables.
I don't know how the health dept let's the place stay open!
After $27, lesson learned and will not be going back!

Ordered a brisket meal, and while the potatoe salad and cole slaw was okay, the brisket was not! It was a mushy mess with no flavor whatsoever! Will not eat there again!

Perhaps the time of day, but we purchased a sampler plate which was much less than tasty. The meats were hard to chew, not very warm not flavorful. While the meat may be fresher, the sides are typical prepackaged bulk items. Who knows how long they have sat in the refrigerator, let alone the added sodium and other ingredients. The BBQ itself is a sweet sauce, but nothing outstanding. Personally, Break Time sandwiches out of the cooler taste better from the microwave than the Smoke Stack supposedly made fresh sandwiches.

Food was great, but unfortunately had to wait 30 min for food since the lady was working by herself during dinnertime. The to-be Manager took a
15 break that turned into 45 min!? The very nice, pregnant worker should have had assistance! Would have given 5 stars had it been staffed appropriately.

The meat is drenched in a very sweet sauce and you cannot tell pork from the brisket. All looks the same. The taste I would expect from something that was cooked a few days ago and allow to bathe in the sauce. The burnt ends are chewy and dry once you get past the layers of sauce. Expensive old tasting truck stop food. Won’t go back. I would not recommend. The only reason for two stars is portion size.

The employees are extremely rude you say thank you they say absolutely nothing back and the food was old. One star is too high of a rating

Would never go there again, 1st time there and the food was so nasty. The guy was nice tho!

Best spot to get something when in a hurry. Their service is speedy, pricing is reasonable, fantastic vibes. Would recommend to others

Food actually good. My 1st experience here and I tried the pulled chicken, baked beans, and potato salad. All were tasty and flavorful. I didn't even put sauce on the meat. Generous portions. I only would have liked meat a bit warmer, but it wasn't dried out.

The workers were nice. Potato Salad is very good along with the cheesy corn. Ribs were edible. The skin was still on the ribs tender but not much flavor. Everything else I couldn't really finish. Pork was greasy and super fatty mixed and chopped with BBQ sauce. Beef was the same way. Not very good at all Probably won't be back. Bread was soaked in butter and not toasted.

The food was edible. That's about all I can say. Other than. My toast was sopping in artificial butter oil, the chopped brisket looked gross, tasted funny but I ate it anyway and I didnt get sick so theres that. Coleslaw was edible but not my fav for sure. I wont eat bbq here again. I'd reccomend u spend 5 more bucks on your meal and find a real bbq stop. Thus place advertises being in business since 1956. I say. I DONT KNOW HOW.
