Smokin' Bob's BBQ

This place is my favorite for burnt ends in the Springfield Area. Today i tried their jalepeno sausage and it was pretty good but the showcase stealer is their smoked blueberry cheesecake. Only thing i dont like is the seats, not very comfortable.

This was the worst experience of my family's life. The people was very cold like that could care less that we were there. The atmosphere was like a lock up facility. The food was cold and just terrible. The Mac and cheese was coagulated, beans like you just took them out of the fridge and ribs was fatty, cold, and made me literally sick. I thought I had food poisoning. My family's order was horrible with Bride having burnt ends, and Son having the pulled pork nachos. There wasn't anyone eating there when we arrived and I understand why now. I work hard for my money so I can do nice things for my family and really wanted to treat them to a nice supper but almost treated them to a trip to the ER because the nasty food made us all sick. Smoking Bob should be ashamed of themselves for employing very unconcerned and rude people as well as serving very cold, and nasty food. If anyone would like to treat their family to a nice supper this is most definitely not the place to take them. Our visit was on 1-23-24 around 5: 30 pm on republic rd.

Great food and service. Staff was super friendly, clean bathrooms and restaurant. Prices were very reasonable. It’s small inside, so there were a lot of Togo orders. I would definitely eat here again.

It's a casual atmosphere which is perfect for a good barbeque. It's the food and the service that I go for. The food is always delicious and well prepared. For me the portions are generous, and I always take some home. I have tried almost all the options and have never been disappointed. Even the sides are delicious. All the sides have a smoky flavour which I find complements the meat. The menu is not large or complicated but is robust enough to satisfy most people.

Typical "eat out" BBQ. Fairly dry meat but cover it in sauce and you have a BBQ restaurant. I used to competition cook so usually won't eat BBQ out because of this.

I got the P. B. S which is a quarter pound of sausage, pulled pork, and brisket. The meat was nice and tender. The staff was very friendly. If you order the baked beans but don't like heat, just put some of their sweet BBQ sauce in it and it dulls the the level of heat. Overall I would rate this experience at a 10/10.

Food is great with Large servings. We had Ribs, Pulled Pork Nachos, and Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich. A nice variety of BBQ sauces - Original, Spicy, Sweet and mustard. We were the last customers of the evening because everything sold out. Wish them well as they put more on the smoker for tomorrow!

Meat is juicy and cooked well. Great spicy BBQ sauce, like, best spicy in town imo. Beans were a touch spicy, which I loved, but my wife thought the heat was too much. Service was fast and the crew was nice. We'll be back.

From kc and wow this place is amazing. Friendly help and awesome bbq. Mustard sauce is some of the best ive had. Definitely will be back.

Great food and service, always clean and tidy. Atmosphere, these folks have always been warm and welcoming. May not be Ted's Montana Grill but the friendly attitude makes for a great place to visit.

It Smelled Amazing When I Walked In. The Cashiers Were Very Kind And Sweet. I Waited Like 10 Minutes And My Food Was Hot And Ready. The Ribs Were Very Flavorful And The Original BBQ Sauce Added A Nice Tang. The Beans Were Immaculate And So Tasty. The Smoked Mac N Cheese Was Very Smoky, Something Different But Still Was Nice To Try. I Never Ate Pickles And BBQ But My Mind Was Blew It Was So Good. Thanks So Much!

Amazing BBQ, great side options. Simple menu, everything fantastic. Get there early for best selection. When they run out, they run out.
