Society of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store - Cool Valley Outlet, St. Louis MO

I've shopped here many times and you definitely have to have patience, but certain staff members have terrible customer service skills and they are very rude about putting you out by about 5: 30 when the don't close until 6: 00. I understand it's a resale shop, but much like many other businesses they don't respect their customers. Again it's not everyone, but leadership starts from the head.

I was not happy with this used clothing store. They just dump items in bins on top of each other and then you sift thru this stuff that does not smell good.

Just tried to make donation and the older woman working was a total Karen! She was annoyed I didn’t ring the bell. She went through a while spiel about what they take and don’t take. Pointed out the cameras. I put the bed frame back in my car. The basket of blankets and a giant stuffed animal I put up on the loading dock, she kicked off the dock at my car! I was done listening to her nag! Do your job ma’am without whining and complaining!

I absolutely love this place. They got great bargains on clothes and have neat and interesting antiques which I love to buy

This is a great place to go. Always have nice items from A~Z. A selection of clothes. Staff is friendly. & helpful.

I found amazing clothes at prices so low, I wondered if I was dreaming. The fact that you have to literally dig through bins makes it feel like a legit treasure hunt. Hidden gem.

Not trying to be rude but St. Vincent DePaul has better quality items at a much more reasonable price than Goodwill. Sorry Goodwill I used to be an avid customer until I moved to north county,

There's 2 or 3 men that sit there all day and snatch up anything good and re-sell it on Facebook marketplace. Its a shame they let this continually happen.

Just bought new mattress and box spring for a good price. Mattress is memory foam which is perfect for me since I have back aches. Can't wait to get a good night's rest.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.if you would like a refund or a proper exchange. The store policy for returns do NOT say "if you purchase clothing you can only exchange for clothing. " I tried take a return and get sheets in exchange but because I bought used clothIng with my money instead of a new item with the same money, I couldn't get the sheets. This could be a lawsuit! UPDATE YOUR POLICY TO REFLECT WHAT YOUR MANAGERS AND WORKERS ARE TOLD! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO ALSO THRIFT IN THE AREA!

I went to the St. V de P Outlet after staying away for 12 weeks. The same cashier, Barb, took away a bag of clothes I got from a new bin. She makes up her own rules, then yells at certain customers. It is not fun to be there.

Three month ago review: A cashier is very rude. She makes digs on certain people. I stay away.

First time here! Staff was friendly, store was clean and much more organized than other by the pound stores in the area! Really like how the bulky items/electronics have already been pulled/displayed on shelves with prices (keeps them from being thrown around/broken in the bins and also so you know prices on larger items before checkout). There were SO many clothes/purses/shoes to go through - great brands and most everything was in great condition as well. Came home with clothes my husband/kids actually LIKE for once! Had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

My family spends a lot of money here. The staff seem to get pretty annoyed by doing thier job, they state it verbally. If Im spending money that should make you happy not annoyed you have to do your job.
