South Parking Lot at Saint Louis Zoo reviews
10It does cost to park here. There is some free street parking as long as you are willing to walk a little ways. There is a lot more free street parking near the north parking lot. The south lot itself is much bigger than the north lot and has a much more impressive entrance with statues and photo ops. Both entrances are accessible and easy to use.
Lots of disability parking and very easy to walk to the zoo. Just wish they had someone directing traffic at the gates on the weekend because some people are inconsiderate and drive extremely reckless to get ahead of one or two people.
Took my granddaughter on a Saturday. It was a nice day. The weather was great, which meant the zoo was packed! I don't think I've ever been there when it was so busy. The parking lots were completely full. We had to park about 1 mile away and walk. It was difficult to get up to see some of the animals bc it was so busy. We did enjoy ourselves, though. Food prices aren't bad at all. Staff was friendly. The zoo was clean, including bathrooms. We definitely enjoyed the day. Next time, I'll go through the week and during the school year to avoid so many people.
Nice parking lot, nice decorations and easy access to the zoo and it's clean no trash laying around.
Very convenient parking. Don't drive anything bigger than a car though unless you want to pay extra. And the parking lot itself is pretty tight.
Anywhere for charter busses to park? I've not seen any; only a hool busses along the sstretch. Taking a group soon.
I found the perfect spot for my bus. Steps away from the North entrance and across from picnic tables. I even got to walk the trail before my group was ready to leave for Lambert Airport and fly back to Naples, Florida.
Here from Lexington Kentucky. Love the zoo! Especially the 1904 flight aviary. Didn't know it existed. Apart of history!
We parked here ($15) to go the free St. Louis Zoo. The Zoo was awesome! Highly recommend it. Staff throughout the Zoo are helpful but not intrusive.
It's a parking lot. It's south of the zoo. It's bigger than the north lot. Enough said.
Went on a Sunday. Not to packed when we got there, little busier later. A few new updates. New tree club house to go through and it's nice to see different monkeys and the habitats they originally live in. Was pretty hot. Suggest maybe a few more fan sprinklers throughout to help. Also the sting rays are so cool to pet. Love this zoo.
