Let me start by saying the stylists are great. I have never had an issue with them. They give great haircuts and have always been very friendly.

I used to get my haircut here all the time, but they have implemented an online check in system. I used to walk in and the wait would be 20 to 30 minutes, but with online check-ins, the wait is generally one to two hours. Sure you can go take care of errands while you wait for you time, but if they come up to your name on the list early and are in the middle of something, you'll get deleted out. And even if you show up when it says to, there is usually still a 20 minute wait. It's not immediate service. So essentially the online check in system has just made things overly complicated, and the wait for walk-ins take way to long. There are other places that accommodate walk-ins that have less of a wait, for around the same rate.

Chantelle is the reason why I'm giving 5 stars. Before she came back to this location, I about gave up. I was tired of my son & I receiving bad haircuts. Poor blending, missed patches, uneven cuts, we had them all. Having had been here so many times, you knew which stylists to avoid and who the better ones were. But it seemed like the better ones never stayed and the sloppy stylists were the only consistent workers. That all changed when Chantelle gave my son a haircut and it was great! I requested her for my haircut and is now my only preferred stylist. She's also very friendly and has a very professional attitude. Thank you, Chantelle, for the great hair cuts! I don't have to worry anymore about a bad haircut.

They stylist was very nice, cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and also made me laugh, thank you Jay!

After a place that I won't mention names. But the do say they're GREAT butchered my kids hair. It took 5 months for his hair to grow back. Took him to sports clips. Yes the price was more but my son was very happy with the cut he got. We'll be taking him back again. Thank you sports clips

Worth the price. Efficient and professional. Cut my son's hair as well and the stylist did a great job with him.

I had a wonderful time at this Sports Clips the stylist that cut my hair Kierstyn was a phenomenal and extremely kind individual one of the best hair cuts I've had the pleasure of recieving. I had asked for a high fade just wanting to try new style and she went above and beyond with keen eye for detail will be coming back again.

My hair is longer these days and I have a decent beard. Hard to find a place where they care this much and they aren’t charging $40 for a hair cut and another $20 for the beard. Amberlie and Kelsey are the best though! Last 2 times I’ve had them helping me! I always leave feeling confident that I look my best and they have lots of useful tips to share about managing long hair!

Just today, Kelsey was really willing to take the extra time to give me a cut I was really happy about! It was a bit of a risk on my part, but I’m extremely happy with the result! Great job to all the ladies that work so hard there!

The “check-in” system does not work. Checked in on line for my son & I and we showed up when we were supposed to. We still waited an hour while out time kept getting pushed back on the board & several other people were moved ahead.

I walked in and only waited about 20 mins not bad. Considering how many people were waiting for a haircut.

Great back to school cut by Monica, we will be back as this grows out. For this hard to please student he gave the cut "two thumbs up"

Never once have I left this place with a good haircut. They will cut It too short, cut it uneven, or just flat out not even listen to you every time you get a cut here. If you wantto get the worst haircut you've ever gotten then by all means you'll love this place but if you want to look even semi decent find somewhere else to go

Really outstanding service! The environment feels more like a sports bar than a Barber shop. The hair stylists are very professional, talented, charming and I don’t mind saying, attractive.:)

My husband and son usually always come home with good hair cuts, but the service is SO slow. They are never on time for their appts even when you request a time and person online so you end up waiting another half hour. Every one is nice but the point of booking it online ahead of time is to be able to get in and done and not spend hours waiting. It’s mainly men’s haircuts. How long can they seriously take.

I loved my haircut. Amy could not have done a better job. Glad to know I have her to count on after moving to Kansas City recently.

My son loves the ladies here! They are so sweet to him and makes sure he is looking fresh when he leaves!

Love going there every 3-4 months to get my MVP Haircut, Wash, Shampoo, Rinse, Dry, Style, and the SHOULDER MASSAGE because IT MAKES ME FEEL VERY NICE THERE plus two of my favorite best friends work there too and they do my hair very well & very extremely good

They're good Barbers, and try to make the hair cut into a luxurious experience, at which they generally succeed.

I’m very surprised by how well rated this location is, but after looking thru a few they’re all very basic cookie cutter reviews.

Personally I would rate this location at a 2-Star, if you’ve never been to a Sports Clips in the past - I would still recommend it for the experience, but be ready to spend over $25. The Steak and potatoes lunch I made for my wife today and fruits from Price Chopper, combined it all cost me less than this haircut.

I walked in to Sports Clips because I’ve only been twice and this was my 2nd time, at this location too.
Today is a very special day for my wife and I, so I wanted to get a haircut — decided to see what level sports clips could push my hair game and I betrayed my sweet local hairstylist, who normally charges me $12-15. The female-stylist from my previous visit exactly a year ago, ironically on this same day —- was still working there. Unfriendly and indifferent as I remember her, long day maybe? I signed in and decided to wait out the 30min wait. Quite a few kids today.

At some point I asked to use the restroom from a stylist at the help desk and she seemed sluggishly uninterested, initially apprehensive like I was going to ask something I shouldn’t. Strange, 2 different people already. Then finally they received me to get my haircut, the female let me know that because I hadn’t been to sports clips in over a year they didn’t have any information on my hair preferences. So I said it’s okay and explained what I wanted, simple short haircut.

Sports clips advertises their pampering services for the more sophisticated individual who deserves nothing but the best, like a warm towel on their face, a hair wash in nice charcoal shampoo with a deliberate somewhat soft towel to dry up that hair!

Sadly that’s not me, I just wanted a haircut and maybe good customer service. The entire haircut experience I attempted to ease the quiet awkward silence with my hair stylist, bringing up general topics but she didn’t seem interested at all — didn’t offer any tips on how she felt my hair should look or how to care for it. She just wanted to cut and get on to the next one it seemed, which is fine, it’s her job right? However, she works a profession that requires customer service and she provides a service that adds tips. I would of assumed she at least would try to earn a tip but I guess the colored hair, over-caked makeup and yoga pants usually does it at this location.

For human decency purposes I still tipped her $7, so it came out to around $28, but for that experience it simply was not worth it — there is very little return value at this location. I didn’t feel like they wanted my business or at least pretend they did for sake of tips. The quality of the haircut? Honestly.it was pretty basic. There was nothing about the haircut that made it stick out or made it seemed like it received any extra love from Sports Clip. In fact I left feeling guilty. For that price, I could of given my local hair stylist a fat tip for conversation and haircut with more substance in a shorter amount of time.

Sadly this location is just a Sports Clip hype, if you’re looking for a good haircut I wouldn’t expect much. If you’re looking to watch the Olympics during a 30min wait window, I strongly recommend it! They do have a nice TV and watching the olympics at this location was the only highlight of my visit.
