Sport Clips Haircuts of Grindstone, Columbia MO

My 3 year old son had been avoiding a haircut for a few months and he just screams that he doesn’t want one. We went in today expecting to get turned down again like at another salon in town and the gentleman who cut his hair did a great job, he hung in there and got as much done as possible.

They give decent haircuts occasionally but 50% of the time I dislike my haircut when I get it at sports clips and that same percentage applies to the amount of times they didn't listen to what I asked for. They are professional, about average price for a haircut and actually have a decent price for a beard trim. I do like being able to check in via the app, that is convenient and half the reason I go but be prepared to possibly have your haircut be not what you asked for.

Honestly would rate Zero stars. They completely messed up my son and boyfriends hair. Cut it both waaay to short as well as the lineup being choppy. I really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Prices are definitely not worth the low quality outcome. My

Nicole R is AMAZING! She just cut my husband and 2 boys hair. They all did the viking style cut. She was so sweet, fun, and great with the boys. Very friendly and professional and talented. She did great! We will deff be going to her for now on. Thanks again girl!

Spencer was amazing, very friendly and did a wonderful job on my hair cut and beard trim. I dont think I've talked that much to a stranger or even a hair stylist before. Would definitely go back and also recommend. The location was also very clean and at the time I went in there wasn't a lot of people. So the store as well as Spencer both get 5* from me.

I've been here waiting for 30 minutes to 2 open stylists. Who would rather wait for the online check in customer that hasn't showed up and is 15 minutes late.

Terrific business model.

Showed up, and my name was deleted from the checkin list and had to wait an extra half hour to be seated. Asked for a midline zero fade with a touch off top. What I got was an uneven shave on the side and nothing taking off the top. Also a giant bald spot. Hairstylist did not seem confident and should not be working this profession. Do not go here, it’s not worth the terrible $21 cut

Jessica always takes good care of me. I get a good cut and it still looks good 4 weeks later. So I keep going back and I keep asking for her.

At the moment, they need to FIX THEIR DAMNED PHONE! If I'm trying to make an appointment for myself and someone else for tomorrow, their website is not equipped for that; I have to call. I'm getting the "fast busy" signal which says their connection isn't working properly. If I call from my cellphone, Verizon gripes that there's a problem on their end.

Krystin was very friendly and worked swiftly. She was done within 15 minutes and the end result was very satisfactory.

At 6: 15pm, with a blinking “Open” sign and 45 minutes to close I was told that my son could not get a haircut, that the person in the chair was the last one for the day. Why then was the sign lit up if customers weren’t encouraged to come in?

I've been to all the other sorts clips in Columbia and this one did me the best. Tara cut my mullet to perfection! Online check-in is great! Will make this my go to place.

Took my son in for Haircut before school pictures. Simple Fade with little bit longer than finger length on top so he can brush it over. Instead he gets what is almost a haircut to enter basic training! No bangs and hair was un-even and very short. Was practically a high and tight with no hair to work with on top for pictures along with uneven cut on back side of his hair. Some how she didnt even get the side faded evenly so his right side has a higher fade then his left side. Very disappointed and will never use them again, how they can charge $21 for that is beyond me. Ill use Varsity Clips or Clean Cut here on out!

I go here religiously for my haircuts. The staff is full of hair cutting veterans who are all very friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. I would recommend to anyone!

They were really busy so my husband had to wait but they only had 2 poor girls working their tails off. His hair however looks great and the girls were very sweet

Came in and was the only one waiting. Checked in on the tablet at the counter. Was never greeted by anyone. Sat for an hour without ever being spoken to. 3 others arrived and waited and all eventually got cuts. Left after an hour without still having ever been spoken to. Won't be back.

Nicole at Columbia, MO branch did the best job my hair has ever seen! She was professional, knowledgeable and knew right away what to do with my hair, which has always been challenging to maintain and cut properly. I’m not sure how I happened upon this salon but I’m very grateful. Thank you Nicole for being the best.
