If you have a child with special needs, move or find a private school. This year my son has gone backward academically. They quit doing parent/teacher conferences last year at his "school. " There just seems to be a lot of run around and disorganization. There are no advocates for special needs kids and trying to navigate through any of it is extremely frustrating. It seems like no one cares. He does get to watch a lot of YouTube though so he likes that since he's not allowed at home. He's come home with new cuss words and other nasty stuff. Think they've given up on him. He's only 8. Just sad
