SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Wentzville

How is this hospital not closed? They put patients in dirty rooms they are far from clean they are slow and could careless about their patients I highly recommend not to come here if you want to live go somewhere else no nurse's seem to care it or keep you updated

Absolutely the best care anyone could ask for. All staff are amazing, and made my time in the hospital feel like a staycation. Even the food is good! Thanks especially to Dana and Lora, to me you’re the best of the best.

I had to sit in the hallway for 4 hours with a sliced open arm, the hospital is very dirty there are bugs and bloody rags just lying around. Everything takes forever and you are forgotten about if you aren’t actively throwing a fit.

I just called I was hung up on three times the people that work there do not care do not go to SSM the customer service is the worst

I had my granddaughter up there last night because she was having mental health issues and I had to take her up there via ambulance millions I have never been treated so badly and I had no idea it was customary to shame patients especially young teenage girls that are having problems the the staff was horrible both both nurses that we had we're so mean and they shamed her and made her feel bad How do I file a complaint I'm point because this behavior has to stop or you need To get new nurses Very terrible bedside manners Don't ever take your kids there ever and then when they get upstairs all they do is pump them full of drugs because that way they don't have to deal with them that's no way to help patients

My friend goes here and is on a 96 hour hold, the nurses or really sweet. ️ I don’t know about the past reviews on everyone else but. I have got none but good conversation out of the nurses, I appreciate y’all

I have three friends who have independently told me horror stories about this place, all of whom were admitted in different years. You or your child will be subject to inappropriate uses of medical and physical restraint, be verbally harrassed by caregivers including but not limited to how God hates you for trying to kill yourself.

No communication with family members, quick to medicate. Go elsewhere for better care. Former staff don't recommend. Big red flag.

More concerned about making money instead of actually helping people. If I could give them no stars that's what they'd get! BJC is far superior! 0 customer service or empathy! Worst medical corporation ever!

Came here with a fever and severe pain in the roof of my mouth. Asked what to do about the pain and pressure and the doctor immediately accused me of pill seeking.

Use lake st louis the doctors there have actual degrees.

I apologize for others having bad experiences here. However, my experience was nothing short of amazing. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses and doctor were incredible. They were extremely attentive, kind, compassionate, and truly care. It was the nicest hospital I have ever been too. I hope I never have to come back, but am truly thankful I did.

Unhelpful staff due to overwhelming strict rules and procedures. No or few accommodations are made for people with special needs. This place is capable of destroying one's mental health.

A message to all parents who might be choosing this hospital to get treatment for your child-
Do not trust this place. They delete reviews by real patients who hate it and I’ve seen it over the years. It saddens me to see these people have no remorse for what they are doing and how they continue to mistreat people. They’re trying to be shady by deleting reviews and it’s wrong. These people will rob you of your money and not even give the children real treatment!

This place is awfull and the doctor does not care about your child what so ever please do not take your kids here.

When there to help treat my depression and anxiety and was told if I didn’t sign the papers they would forcefully keep me there for 96 hours so I signed the papers. Less than 12 hours later they discharged me and told me my parents had other options. When I asked if I didn’t like there option could I come back I was told yes. I come back the next day for help and I’m left sitting in a chair for 4 hours while everyone else around me got help. I was then told they wouldn’t let me stay because I left the day before. I’ve came to the conclusion they didn’t want me there because I have no insurance. I do not recommend this hospital for any of your loved ones and now I see why it has such a bad rating. They want to know why suicide rates are climbing but fail to look at how the care for and treat their patients. This is why we don’t ask for help.

Last visit was 3 years ago. Staff was abusive. They watched you use the restroom and shower. It makes you feel violated. The food is good but the staff is terrible. There’s a few good ones though. The watching you 24/7 is too much!

Had the unfortunate pleasure of visiting this location for kidney stones. I have worked in healthcare for 20+ years and am in and out of hospitals on a daily basis. This facility provided stellar care! Everyone from the front desk clerk, to the ER Doc (Dr. Lenz), to the RN (Tina), to the gentleman who took me to CT were exceptional! I came in unbelievable pain and they were treating me within seconds with an IV and pain meds. Cannot say enough about the wonderful care I received. These folks certainly fulfilled their mission statement of revealing the healing presence of God through their exceptional health care services.
