St. Ann Catholic School reviews
7Great school with great staff. The school has a great diversity of students and places an emphasis on building character. There are many opportunities for field trips and alternative learning experiences. The upper block teachers are well versed in their subject of expertise and prepare students well for high school.
The quality of St. Ann has declined significantly and this is from some parents and some students point of view. Good strong leadership is very much needed at this school and this is missing! I would like to see a strong principal/strong teachers with good strong and stable leadership skills. …. Until this happens.this school will not move forward! The educational standards are not what it should be. My child learned more in a public school.
We are very happy with the experience our kindergartener is having at St. Ann. He loves going to school, is learning a lot and really connecting with his classmates and all of the teachers and staff. He has enjoyed the learning experiences as well as the fun activities outside of school from sports like soccer and basketball to concerts, to family day, halloween fright night and more. We are grateful to have this school in our community.
This is a great school and community. Our oldest daughter just graduated last year and attends IWA where she is in all honors classes. We have 2 other kids enrolled currently. We enjoy the cultural and economic diversity of the school and also the extracurricular activities that are offered.
Our son just started in Kindergarten and we have really enjoyed our short time with St Ann. He looks forward to going to school everyday. He enjoys all of his classmates and really likes Mrs. S (K Teacher). He has had a blast going to the Sprenke Soccer Tournament that they host each year. This is a great option for our area. We were hesitant at first but have really been blown away at all the activities and how much he has enjoyed school.
We’re loving our experience at Saint Ann so far. My daughter goes in excited and comes home with lots to tell me about her friends, teachers, and all the special activities she did that day. Saint Ann has a great garden club, including a vegetable garden, chickens, honey bees. She comes home telling me she learned about Salvador Dali from the art teacher, or that the principal played banjo for them, or the PE teacher has the best jokes, maybe she had a great hot lunch, or extra time outside in the fresh air… etc. A great little school, glad we found it.
