I’ve bought all 3 of my Harley’s thru them. This time it was in for the service department. I spoke to SEVERAL people affiliated with Harley Davidson concerning the part I needed and Harley is making obsolete. It is on back order Oct 2024. The people here at this dealership were the only GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE I received. Even the lady who called back from Milwaukee after I filed a complaint was dismissive of my problem and was passing the buck about it not being Harleys fault. St Charles HD went above and beyond trying to get my bike back on the road. The bike was there 39days looking for that part. When I located one and dropped it off a 2pm Columbus Day we were picking it up the next afternoon.

Looking for a Harley go here!

Mark Rogers is the reason I keep coming back and purchasing New Harleys! Great communication, treats his customers like family. Very knowledgeable and keeps his word! Thank you Mark!

Please read this before you decide to go here and possibly buy a Harley-Davidson. The salesman sure want you to feel like you're in the right place, they tell you that you were happiness comes first and then want you to feel comfortable and safe on your bike. So I looked around and found what I thought would be the perfect fit for me and was very excited to actually buy my first motorcycle.

I had the bike delivered to my garage and I signed up for the riding classes which were going to be three weeks away. During this time I took the online tests they require for you to actually attend the writing classes. The tests are great and very helpful, they ask you to get comfortable with your bike. So after getting on and off the bike a few times, feeling the weight of it and how it sits I realize that this bike was a little bit heavier and bigger than I needed and that I really didn't think I'd feel safe riding it.

So here's where the trouble begins! I call the salesman that I bought the bike from let him know that I just don't feel safe on it and I'd really like to return the bike and get something different. Now mind you the bike has only been delivered to my house I've had it less than two weeks I have not put any miles on it because it has not moved outside of my garage and all I'm wanting to do is return it for something else, possibly two bikes because my son wants one as well. I have not paid the sales tax yet I have not made my first payment yet and the salesman said just bring in your paperwork with the VIN number and he'll see what he can do. Now I knew I was going to take a small hit and I was okay with that because I was going to get something I felt much safer on and get a chance to share something with my son.

So we went up there we found two bikes that seem to fit us much better and the salesman was talking to his bosses and came back with an offer. Again remind you the bike has not moved has not been ridden there is no more miles on it and it's in the same exact condition as I purchased it but they wanted to give me 65% of what I paid and then try to get me to get the other bikes.

I was completely shocked considering the two bikes that I was looking at were close to $9,000 more than I had already spent but they wanted me to take a $4,500 hit on something I have never used. Yet again they tell me they want me to be happy and they want me to feel safe! As of right now I don't feel safe at all riding this motorcycle and I don't know if I ever will and I'm sure not happy. Wouldn't it be more money for them selling two bikes and having two happy customers that feel safe, than one very upset customer? !

One of the other things that really upset me was I had talked to a different salesman the day before because the salesman that sold me the bike wasn't there that day and I said I'd come back. I told him my situation and he kind of scuffed and laughed. I also mentioned how much lighter the Indian motorcycles were. His response to that was, "yeah but if you bought an Indian you own an Indian and nobody wants that". These two companies work together and are owned by the same person and this is how they feel about each other and their products. To me this entire dealership at least the Harley-Davidson version is nothing but snake oil salesmen that care more about their bottom line then your happiness or your safety.

So my suggestion if you really want a Harley-Davidson please go to any of the other dealerships nearby and hopefully you will have a much better experience than I did.

Very Rude customer service. I went there to sell my HD, They offered me very low price, I tired to negotiate, But they were really rude. They said if you want our offer, we will give you check right away. But when I accepted the offer, they said they can not give the check today. I asked why and they were really rude and told be, if I don't like I can get out of there. Really seems to be racist place to me. The manager was also very arrogant. Never go to this place.

I took my streetbob up there to get a new rear tire just before the Springfield mile, I dropped the bike off the day before and it was ready by the time I got off of work. Rode it all the way up to Springfield Illinois the long way and it did just fine. Will definitely be bringing my bike back up there for service.

I live all the way in Central Arkansas and had an issue trying to find the correct parts for my bike. Baily Nelson helped me get the right part super fast. Solid dude and this dealership will always have my business. If anyone in management is seeing this. Baily is the only competent parts guy I've ever dealt with at Harley. He needs a raise and a paid day off.

Bill Taylor is an amazing sales rep. He has sold me two Harley’s now and provided me with amazing experiences for both! My new fast Johnnie 2023 low rider ST is amazing and I love it! I’m excited everyday I get to ride it!

I did the rider to rider program. Jerry told me multiple times that the owner doesn't like the program so I took lowest priority. That set the tone for sure. Jerry received the check from Harley financial services and said the owner has to sign the check but the owner doesn't like the program. I explained that I had 2 other buddies who did want to buy new or off the lot and that my ultimate goal was to buy new in the next couple years. Jerry called and threatened to tear up the check after he had a conversation with the seller of my bike so I told him to tear it up. At that moment, Jerry found me a service writer who conveniently just pulled up to the lot. It was just not a great experience and I feel like they only look out for their own interest, not yours. Not good for the brand I would think but I don't think that is what the brand is about so now for the good news.

My buddy went to Doc's Harley Davidson and had a great experience and he said he felt very welcome. My other buddy is interested and I will definitely go to Doc's for my next one.

I've been happy with all my purchases at St. Charles Harley. When you're treated well it makes you want to come back again for your next one.
