My husband passed a year in half ago. I had a large sum of money in my account. During this grief period and still grieving. I asked the Rep, how did I spend over a certain dollars amount in a year and have nothing to show. It’s impossible. Please give me a copy of my statements for the last two years. The Rep that printed the statements is gone for a month and no one can find them. The new Rep says it will cost me 150.00 to review my own account. They need to tell me where my money has gone. Very dissatisfied and I will be moving the remainder of my money. You should have confidence in your banking institution where you’re saving your money.

Well tell you anything to make themselves look good I’ve been a member about 5 years now. I started at university city location first and never had a problem. I can’t even get hold to anyone to fix my problem

I hate that i refinanced my car loan with them soo much. The member service manager is unprofessional and they apply balances/fees to accounts for no reason! I shouldn’t have to call, wait for 30-50 minutes to get refunds and charges reversed that shouldn’t have been applied in the first place. Trash credit union

THIS BANK IS RIDICULOUS, MY DAD HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS AT THIS BANK. CAN'T EVERY GET SOMEONE TO HELP HIM ACCURATELY. TRUE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HIS BALANCE WAS AND WAS FOUND AROUND N CIRCLES FOR 20 MINUTES AND SO STILL NEVER GOT NEWHER.aaaaahhhy! What a mess! And a headache.definitely going to switch banks asap.

Closing my account after 15 years because of there ridiculous overdraft fees! Even if you have money in your savings, they wouldn't transfer the cash. There's plenty of banks that don't charge fees to chose from.

Go elsewhere. They can’t answer anything over the phone and tell you to come in like you and talk to someone don’t work every day. They are completely useless. Truly.

Have been banking with them for years despite numerous issues I have had with them (completely inconsistent customer service, broken atms, limited capabilities, among others) over the entire time I've banked with them. Recently had gotten scammed in a transaction and I had documentation to back it up. They stated they would do an investigation and reached out to the company for a charge back.the company (the same one I got scammed through) stated there are no dispute options available so STLCCU closed my dispute and the rep lectured me about personal responsibility in their e-mail response. Will be closing my account with them as soon as I pay off my remaining loans through them. Never again.

I am editing this review after having been contacted by one of the managers at the Credit Union. She immediately apologized for my initial experience with this dispute and took care of the transaction herself. I appreciated her taking the time and the initiative instead of letting the issue stand as it was, as I was dead set on closing my account off of my initial encounter

Don't go here unless you have 2 hours to waste. We all have to use the drive-through, and it has never taken less than an hour. This is the WORST credit union (banks too) I have ever used.

St. Louis Community Credit Unit is very limited in its technical and account capabilities. I’ve been a member for about 10 years. I will close my account this upcoming year because the credit union also lacks great customer service. The app produced an error that prohibits me from logging in. I haven’t been able to log in for about 1 month and 2 weeks. The app is more convenient and user friendly. I messaged the team through the online portal and today makes a month that they are still researching the issue. No mention of a completion date-no accountability.

I learned that the banking team cannot see any payments via ACH until the payment is actually taken out which provides a false view of your available balance. If I have an app it should calculate ALL transactions or else it’s outdated. My other applications via other banking institutions will show as pending. No here. No explanation other than it’s in my agreement per a manager. This message was relayed to me after waiting for 5 minutes. That response is what prompted this review. The lack of accountability is astonishing and the professionalism can be improved. I wanted to keep banking at home but it’s time to move on to credit unions with more product offerings and sophisticated technology.

The bank has been pretty reliable in my experience. It may not be the optimal choice
for managing large transfers and deposits
quickly, but the personal touches are appreciated.

Why do I keep my money at this credit union. I will be looking for somewhere else to do my banking. It’s sad when you have lived in stlouis you’re whole life. And pick stlouis credit union to do your banking. And when you have a problem with your account they don’t do anything to help you. I am so mad right now. And you say you help the community well I am part of the community. And you didn’t do a thing to help. So you can keep your messages after my review. You got my number if you want to talk. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I wish I could give it 0 stars. Look at most of the reviews most are all bad.

I’m currently in the drive through with my Dad as he is paying his car note. This girl is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE WITH HER SERVICE! I mean just flat out rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly! This is not how you talk to a customer! I’ve been in customer service for 29 years. And THIS is the perfect example of what NOT TO DO! My dad is a senior citizen. And he’s not feeling the best, but he drove all the way over here from across the water and came and paid his car note. Whether he’s sick or not? This service is way less than what is desired. I’ve been thinking about opening an account with them. I’ll pass. I’ll stay with my bank.

Worst Customer Service EVER! Teller kept my check didn't deposit it in to either account. Had to go back and close my account.

I’ve banked with St. Louis Community Credit Union for almost 20 years. My experiences has varied over the years, having had better and more personal customer services in former times. As of late, my experiences has been filled with frustration and poor customer supports. It’s not okay to have poorly executed processes at the expense of the customer. If you look at this credit union, compared to others in the St. Louis community, you’ll see it’s lower rankings. The empowering thing about this is my options to do business elsewhere. As I often say, OPTIONS IS POWER!

I rarely ever go to the bank or use the Atm. But whenever I do go it’s ALWAYS an issue with the atm either it’s broken or there’s no money in it. And the location I go to on Olive has two ATM machines and neither of them work. I don’t like using the drive thru unless I’m withdrawing a large sum of money. My experience over the years have been horrible I’m starting to dislike this bank very much.

Worst place to have an account. Going back to neighbors. How my account not suppose to be overdraft and they let someone else overdraft it and not be approved. Then close your account and charge you to open it back up. They will never ever get another dollar from me

This place has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Due to COVID everything has to be done online, over the phone etc.well no one can help me set up online banking. Getting anything done over the phone takes 35 minutes of waiting on hold before reaching anyone. Then they charge you a fee for paying the bill over then phone. Horrible!
