I WAS AN INMATE AROUND 2007 AND I BROUGHT IN LARGE CHECKS WITH ME. I WAS LEAVING TOWN ON VACATION. I NEVER RECEIVED THEM WHEN LEFT. AND ANOTHER CHECK WAS HANDED TO SOMEONE BY A FRIEND TO PUT INTO MY JAIL ACCOUNT BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CHECKS. CAN I ASK ANYONE ELSE OR ANYTHING I CAN DO NOW YEARS LATER?

This place is a joke and so are most of the COs. They have a power trip off every ignorant word they would say. It is sad that the few that are decent camouflage with the rest.but for the most part. This is why the world is the way it is. Disgusting excuse for some one who is in charge of someone’s lively hood.you ask a CO for a roll of toilet paper, getting permission, then going to grab it because you got permission to then getting yelled at by the next CO that is walking up.

They don’t ever answer the phone then when you do get somebody that answers they try to connect you with somebody else and the call gets dropped it shouldn’t be this hard for me to find out when somebody is supposed to be getting released. Even the way they treat the inmates I just can’t‍️

After a 4 month nightmare of dealing jefferson county jail Mr. Kevin has been a breathe of fresh of air as a case worker. He is going above and beyond in building the public confidence in a fair and in partial criminal justice system. I wish more civil employee's with old their self to such a high standard of professionalism and selflessness.

It should not be this hard to speak with your loved ones. The workers are no help at all. It's not their family so they could care less. They are rude and throw you off to other people who are also no help at all. It's horrible! The people there are still humans. You don't have to treat them like animals, but maybe you should. I'm sure you care more about animals than a human life the way these people are treated. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

They are housing the sick with the healthy (COVID 19), staff shortage results in neglectful daily necessities, inadequate food and means to personal hygiene, failure to abide by HIPPA and standard protocol per individual inmate illness pre-existing and real time as 140+ now are positive for COVID including staff members.

Just spoke with a nice officer there that seemed not to really be telling the truth. I asked about inmates dying there and he said there had not been any deaths. I checked into this and found multiple articles where inmates had died while in their custody. Did he not know? Was he new there? He must of been uniformed. That is not a good thing. I know someone that has been there and their story was much different than what he was telling me. If I am wrong please feel free to correct me.

I've been trying to call there for 2 hours to try and get information about someone there. No one has answered. It rings for a bit and then just disconnects. Why do you have a phone number up if no one is going to answer it.

I cannot recommend a stay here. The staff are rude and surly. No room service, no turn down service with a chocolate mint!
Food is terrible.bland and unseasoned. The wine list is non-existent!

PHONE NUMBER? What's the point NOBODY ANSWERS! Doesn't matter what time you call this OPEN 24 HOURS, it just rings & rings & rings til it drops the call. Once every 55 calls you may hear a person finally answer but be prepared to be transferred to at least 3 or more departments til you find the correct one.

How do you file a complaint? Upon entry I felt harrassed by two officers. Clay and Wallace both African American males.

I printed out a sign called the First Amendment and mine works alot better than yours does so the sign that says you can't record that trumps the Constitution why don't you print the Constitution out and hang it up
