I've seen Dr. Wright for Lipedema treatment since late 2019. He and his team have been kind, compassionate, and encouraging every step of the way. They helped me get officially diagnosed, and since then I've had 4 Lipedema surgeries on my upper legs (back and front separately), my calves, and my abdomen. I can't gush enough about how wonderful it's been to work with them, and how life-changing these surgeries are.
I've spent decades struggling with my weight, progressively experiencing more and more pain, and the only responses I received from my PCP was to eat less, do more, and stop "lying" about my strict diet and exercise lifestyle. By the time I found Dr. Wright, I was beaten down, suffering mentally and physically, and at my wits end. The surgeries are tough, but I cant imagine a better team to work with - they've been by my side every step of the way. I'll be grateful to them for their excellent work and to Dr. Wright for all the advocacy and research he does to further Lipedema treatments for women like me. I travel to their office from Austin, Tx, and it's worth every single mile. Couldn't recommend enough!
