St. Vincent de Paul Church, Kansas City MO

The Church in its current condition can only guide an individual in its history. Modernism has assaulted the church so profoundly only a radical turning away of the modernism in the church can lead to faithful Catholicism. Archbishop Lefebvre was a saint for standing up for Faith in an age of doubt and modernism. These SSPX churches are his legacy and if God is gracious will serve as the seed to re-innoculate the rest of the church once it is ready to rise again. When one must choose between "unity" with the modernist parish down the street or Unity with the Catholic Church throughout history, choose the latter. Pope Francis vs Pope Pius X? Pick Pope Pius X.

I went to this lovely Mass during a week day. I was impressed by the beautiful architecture. It was beautiful! They have four altars (main, St. Joseph, Mary, and a crypt). I saw something I never thought I'd have an opportunity to see outside of Rome, two Masses celebrated concurrently! The parishoners and priests are very friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this parish!

Warning. This church is not in full communion with Rome and is currently in an irregular canonical status. If you desire to attend a traditional Latin Mass in Kansas City check our St. Rose Philippine Duchesne or Old St. Patricks Oratory. Both of these offer all seven sacraments exclusively in the traditional rite and in full communion with Rome and the full approval of the diocese.

Thank God for the SSPX! A Mass that is centered on God! I have been a member of this church for 2 years since living in KC and am so grateful it is available. If you want to experience the Mass of the Ages, then attend St. Vincent de Paul Church!

Very nice traditional catholic church in irregular status with the Vatican but staffed with many priests so devotions and sacraments are always available and it is inside a nice Gothic revival Church which is helpful for prayer.sometimes the sermons can be helpful and most of the people are nice.

Our family was very happy to attend the Traditional Mass in there while visiting KC. Environment was really peaceful and respectful to the services. We certainly go back there again.

Beautiful Latin Mass said here. They've remodeled and made an alway gorgeous Church Amazing. Been coming here, off and on for many years. Definitely one of my favorite Churches.

SSPX fighting for what is right and good in these troubled times. Traditional Latin Mass and Catholicism the way its meant to be.
