Starbucks, Independence MO

Average coffee location. Average quality. Less than average customer service. Staff is not friendly and not personable. Staff is frantic and always rushing around.probably because they are understaffed in a desire to cut down on labor costs.

I would give this location ZERO stars if possible. Starbucks usually remakes a drink that is incorrect, but this location will not do that if you didn’t buy it from them. So that means I have to drive 10 miles out of my way since I bought one by my doctors office that wasn’t made correctly for my wife who was at home.
I would not recommend this store to anyone EVER since they are not a “corporate” location. I guess non-corporate locations mean poor customer service.

The customer service is absolutely TRASH with the girl working at the register TODAY 3/25/22. At 4: 00pm She completely ignored me standing in line and proceeded to tape up coffee bags. I then asked her if she was OPEN to take orders and she said YES but that she was busy right now. So RUDE!

Absolute trash. Horrible experience. But I guess it would be easy to forget an order for 1 person 5 seconds after taking it.if I stayed fully baked (not half) throughout the day.

Couldn't get anything because the 2 girls said they haven't had a break today so they didn't clean the machine and can't make anything. They were not busy at the time.

People behind the counter were amazing but the manager was short-sighted with regard to correcting a faulty cup that I purchased there I would avoid that place

Lady working today was probably the nicest women ever, friendly happy and coming to kc as bills fans, she told us where to go! Thank u miss for making my day

Yeah I don’t understand why answer the phone, if your literally going to hang up in someone’s face.

This place has horrible customer service. I went in to order drinks this morning and both ladies were so rude and not helpful. They messed up both drinks and they taste terrible. The service I experienced today is not what I normally expect at a Starbucks and I will definitely not go back to this particular one!

They are supposed to close at 8. I went there at 7. The employees closed early. They were mean about it aswell. 0/10 experience would NEVER reccomend

They don’t accept any coupons or offers! GPS really needs to tell people it’s not a real Starbucks

Terrible says there open until 12 yet there’s no one there then find out it’s closed fix your hours if no ine is going to be there

Love a couple of Special coffee's and snacks but they are expensive. Don't get it often

Charged for extra syrup that isn’t actually extra syrup every day. The reasoning given is “for inventory tracking” however they aren’t putting a flavor in the computer just saying extra syrup. The drink we get comes with 4 pumps of flavor whether it’s Carmel or 4 different pumps. We should only get charged For extra if i get more then 4, that’s how every other Starbucks does it. They also Get irritated if you order the drink the way you want it that isn’t “normal” I like 2 shots of espresso with 4 ounces of milk in a venti cup with the rest of the cup full of sweet cream cold foam. I go every morning to grab my wife’s coffee and I was ordering mine but after it made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience I just order my wife’s now.

I drink Starbucks every morning! I even ordered their vanilla and carmel syrup so I can try and make it at home. That's how much I Love starbucks

Starbucks just isn't what it used to be. Thank God there's a Scooters nearby or my mornings would be SHOT, lol.

But seriously try scooters instead. Much better quality much lower prices.

We ordered 3 drinks 2 caramel macchiato 1 macchiato. They messed up everything up. They gave me a chocolate drink made only with the sweetener. Its undrinkable. And when we were there they had to remake our drinks and still messed it up.
