This is a great family farm that adds something new every year. They have lots of trees to choose from and very organized. We drive over an hour to come here and we are never disappointed. I will make a suggestion though, I was in a wheelchair and I could not go in barn to shop because step was too high but I am sure in time that will be added as well. Great place to take the kids! Will go here for our trees every year.

This place brings the Christmas spirit to life. They have great ornaments, chocolate and food to purchase to eat while we were there. My son enjoys cutting down the Fir tree.

We didn't get one. Drove out here and realized the trees are short and fat. Maybe a max height of 3-4 feet. Not worth it unfortunately.

GO TO PEA RIDGE FARMS IN HERMANN INSTEAD! Worth the drive!

Been coming here now for a few years, have made it a family tradition! Call kids out of school, cut a tree, lunch, decorate it’s the best thanks to Starr Pines!

Great experience. The kids love it. Staff was super helpful and polite. We picked out a 6 foot pine. Will be going back every year.

Super nice people! Super short trees - very few nice ones especially above 7'. Really disorganized at checkout - no tags, kids telling you what you owe with no cross reference to register. Definitely has potential though.

Every time I take the family (the day of Thanksgiving) we are treated as if we are family! Immediately greeted as soon as we step out of the vehicles onto the property, walked through what we need to do to find the perfect tree, offered assistance with anything we need and help load up and sent on home. Definitely recommend anyone to go here and check them out. Family tradition!

Great family experience! They provide you with a saw and sled and direct you to their large field where you and your family choose and cut your favorite tree. They shake all the loose needles from your tree and wrap it up.

WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! We've been coming to Starr pines for years and will continue to make this our family tradition. Usually they have a hay ride and gift shop but last year accommodated nicely due to COVID-19, and took it back to a more traditional feel. Hand saws and sleds are provided, you take a walk to their fields with lots of beautiful trees, cut your tree, and bring it back to the barn where it is shaken and wrapped for you. It is usually very busy and we've started coming earlier in the season since we seek a tree about 9 foot, and there seems to be more to choose from Thanksgiving weekend We also always grab one of their beautiful wreathes which seem to go quick as well. WONDERFUL family that is always helpful and busy! Thank you for providing this tradition to mid Missourians!

We were willing to drive 2 hours to come to Starr Pines. My husband called to see if they have 10 foot trees because we have never been there. They lady there answered the phone said “no 10 foot trees and if you want more information then in the future call after dark”. And then hung up on my husband! I will never give this tree farm a dime of my money and with customer service as poor as that, then they don’t deserve to be in business! Awful, awful place!

Starr Pines has been a family tradition since moving to Mid-Missouri 7 years ago. The property is beautiful and staff friendly. Hands down the best place to go for a tree in the region.

Great experience! They had a ton of options- 3 fields to pick from. They give you a saw and a sled and shake and wrap the tree for you. They also have a ton of beautiful pine wreaths to buy. And have handmade ornaments and tree holders to buy too. Everyone was very friendly. They also have a tractor to take you to a further field for additional pines to pick from!
