My experience with this dealership was perfect from the moment my vehicle was towed to this location until the day the work was complete. Communication with Rodney Martin was very professional as he had answers for questions and recommendations for me to address other issues. I fell sick during the time I received the call to pick up my vehicle. Mr. Martin drove my vehicle to my home and picked up the rental that was loaned to me. All I had to do was hand him the keys. From my experience of dealing with mechanics the service presented by him was rare and AMAZING. He's definately an asset to this location. Thank you soooo much Rodney! Your kindness and professionalism is greatly appreciated. May your new year be filled with blessings! P. S.my engine runs better than it ever has!

Rodney was a great Ambassador for your dealership! Welcoming and very knowledgeable. Explain everything and is very detailed oriented. He is the best and even though you are not as close to my home as another dealership, Steve Schmitt Kia is now my dealership! Rodney is "Six Sigma". A TEN all the way!

They did my mom wrong. Ran test on the truck, ran the battery down. She drove the truck for two minutes and the truck cut off. I wouldn’t recommend no one to come here.

Called the dealership to inquire about a listing, spoke to Jenai, verified the vehicle and scheduled an appointment to take a look at it. Upon arriving the vehicle was out and ready for us to look at and so with Jenai's assistance we proceeded with the purchasing process and it was the smoothest experience we ever had. Jenai was super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time with her. The district manager came out and introduced himself, as well as thanked us for choosing them.

If I could a place no stars this would be it! The worst dealership experience I ever had! They had my car for 3 months because they have 2 mechanics! Then when they did give me my car back 3 times it was still not fix. Then when I called back the secretary had the nerve to be sarcastic and nasty.

I went to pick up my vehicle (I drove there with no issues) after getting just a diagnostic testing done (no work was done). By the time I drove past the beauty supply shop at the corner my vehicle just shuts off. Thank god my daughter was already going the same direction as me and was able to pull over. After paying $125 to find out what’s wrong with the vehicle they could’ve at least said “hey we recommend possibly towing the vehicle” or at least being courteous to tell me or as the young people say be 100%. Instead they just charged my card, told me what’s wrong and price to fix (even though I told them I’m on a fixed income and can’t just cough up $2,000) they had 20 minutes of pure opportunity to give me a warning, a signal or side eye or something to indicate do not drive this vehicle. I’m over 60 years old and I promise to God the last I wanted to do was be out in the night time raining cold weather with a broken down vehicle. But they didn’t even care enough to say something to prevent that from happening. It’s okay I’m putting everything into Gods hands and I praise the lord I had someone there for me when I was at a time for need.

My mother drove her truck there for a diagnostics when I took her to go pick it up, we drove 2 minutes away from the shop and her vehicle just stops. We had to call a tow and gave her a jump come to find out they ran her battery down when doing diagnostics testing on her vehicle. We still had it towed to the house just to be safe but they’re trash. You would think they would say something but obviously they don’t have a care in this world.

Service department doesn’t care at all. Just terrible service, why would you let someone leave with a vehicle knowing y’all drained the battery down. Could’ve at least said “we recommend a tow for your vehicle” or something. Just let an elderly woman leave in a vehicle that barely made it 2 stop lights away before shutting off. Y’all just wrong and obviously don’t care.

Great experience at Steve Schmitt Kia. Jenai is the kindest and most sincere car sales rep I have ever worked with. 6 months after purchase she even remembered my name and helped me get in and out of the dealer faster for service. Definitely go see her if you’re shopping for a car here.

Triston Hamilton was very polite and genuinely honest during my time at Kia he helped me get my brand new 2024 Kia k5 and one thing I can say guys him and that management team work great together. 5 stars is well deserved and earned

We have a telluride we bought from a different dealership but i called Steve Schmitt's service department needed a transmission issue addressed ASAP and they got me in much sooner than my local dealership could. I also explained my issue i was having and they were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly! I felt so comfortable taking my vehicle to them and that turned out correct. They got my vehicle done in a day and even on a Friday at 6pm, they even washed my vehicle before i picked up! In service, Jake and Rodney are top notch. Both are fantastic to work with. Rodney handled my service and was just great. I believe he was the one that washed the vehicle as well. Cant recommend them enough.will be taking my vehicle back to these guys as opposed to my local dealership next time.

I had to have a diagnostic done they did the necessary work but when I went back and pointed out some discrepancies on the billing statements they just brushed me off didn't update my demographic info thar I pointed out that was incorrect and charged me for a filter but sd I declined the service sd the cost was on the statement to show the price

I WILL NEVER TAKE MY KIA TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP! Napleton Kia? ALWAYS ISSUES & I tried them 3 times! Lou Fusz Kia is a joke. They wanted $168 UP FRONT for a diagnostic fee. Ummm.you don't typically pay for any service BEFORE the work is done. Weird! NEVER AGAIN! They also said they "lost" my car on their lot! THEN blamed it on the towing company!
Coming to Schmitt was the RIGHT move. Dakota answered the phone when I called, she was great! Their diagnostic fee is exponentially less than any other Kia dealership. Her professionalism is top notch! I must give a shout out to Service Tech Danielle too! She helped me even though I was not assigned to her!
Rodney was my service tech. Oh my gosh did he go ABOVE & BEYOND for me! He is truly a great guy to work with and never makes you feel like a number!
The Scmitt Kia team is OUTSTANDING & I am VERY happy with my service! No matter where I live in the StL area, I will drive to Schmitt Kia!

Went in to get a system diagnostic test and for them to call the warranty company about the issues and costs for repairs to see what they will cover and what we need to pay for repairs. Strike one is they didn't have our appointment scheduled when we set it for a week ahead and took off work. Strike 2 we asked to be called when they called the warranty company and when we can come pick up our car. They never called. We took the car up there at 10am and called them at 3: 30pm before they were about to close and just keep our car. Strike 3 they lied about calling the warranty company because we called them and they said no one from Kia contacted them so now we have to go up there tomorrow and monitor them to do their job. Customer service experience is bad because even though they messed up we were being treated as like well what you us to do about and yeah whatever kind of attitude. I mean it's not like this test is free or we were being rude. Just trying to figure out what is wrong with the car for the warranty company to be notified so we can go from there with repairs.

So I decided to go back which was a huge mistake. I recommend DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They keep your car forever and try to charge you for stuff you didn't ask for, so make sure you don't get played. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and will mess up your car worse and not take responsibility for it.

I've had to use them on three separate occasions after my car had been vandalized. Each time they handled my car with kid gloves. I found them to be professional and courteous, offering rides to and from the dealership to get and from my home and pickup my vehicle. Thank you, for you your kindness to me.

I took my car in for the first oil change for free and they were great and quick. Only issue it’s a brand new car and the radio doesn’t work! They said they would contact me back and never heard a word. I’ve reached out 3 more times and kept saying they would contact me back. Now time for a second oil change…made the appointment and the guy told me they were wide open Wed at 9 and would get me right in. I showed up the guy checking me in was dismissive and just ignored and talked over me like I was bothering him. He said it would be 3 hours! I said why will it take that long and he said because I wanted them to look at my radio. I explained there isn’t anything to look at that it doesn’t work like last time and it’s a brand new car. He was again dismissive and said ok well it’s at least 2.5 hours for an oil change. I said that makes no sense it’s an oil change. I said well what’s the point of an appointment and he said well we are backed up. Absolutely no sense and the lack of them NOT fixing the radio or contacting me back is ridiculous. The ONLY thing good about this place was my sales person.
Hopefully I can find a new Kia dealership to help with my warranty!
