Pulled pork sandwich was ok, but double the price of what it was worth at $17. Do not under any circumstances use the Drink Command draft beer screens. Its a draft beer vending machine designed to rip you off by setting a timer that does not allow you to pour the size beer you paid for because the timer runs out before you can figure out how to use the machine and the foam can settle. It's criminal actually.

If this is your only opportunity to try Kansas City barbecue, go for it. But please don't judge all KC barbecue based solely on this. It's fine and it was over priced for the tiny portions but I blame airport shenanigans more than Stockyards.

Great spot, Stockyards beer is my favorite brewery in KC, so glad they are here. They partner with local BBQ chefs to make it great to eat here as well.

They only get a star because you have to select something. To be an airport eatery the service was EXTREMELY SLOW. I had high hopes but the service was entirely too slow to be acceptable. I had to check on my order, the sides were cold. I ordered the burnt ends which a favorite of mine and were very good which is why I gave it a 3/5 for food. The atmosphere is cute and inviting but for it to be a brewery type atmosphere the amount of TVs was disappointing.

Layover in the airport. Had a reasonably priced supper at Stockyards. Find a seat, scan the menu and a waitress will place your order. Found a seat looking out at the runway.other seats at a bar or tables along the terminal walkway for people watching. Had a brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. A side of macoroni and cheese that tasted home made.

When you get off the plane, you smell the BBQ. I took a chance on the first place. I was not disappointed. The ribs were very good, plan to grab more when I fly out.

While I was waiting for my flight to depart, I ordered a hot coffee and a breakfast burrito with potatoes. Ordered chicken and fries, temperature of food was not even warm, sent it back and the second time it was still at room temperature and not hot. Observed the waitress pick up a lemon and place on the side of customers drink after customer had already drank some of her water, very unsanitary. Waited and waited to ask waitress for refill of drink and they intended to take my glass back to the fountain station to refill it…. Again we’re is the sanitation standards.

Quick service. Food came out maybe 5 minutes after I ordered. Bartender could’ve been a little friendlier but he worked fast so all you can ask I guess.
Pulled pork had good flavor. A tiny bit dry but with the sauce it was still pretty good. Mac and cheese was great!

Was fine with the prices because it’s an airport (over 27 for a two meat plate) but the brisket tasted like it was made two days ago and literally arrived cold. Would not return even though the staff was really nice.

Burnt ends were decent but tiny portions. Food came out in like 45 seconds, obviously it’s all just sitting there. 1/5 for value. After tip $28 for like 5 chunks of beef and some pre-made Mac and cheese.

I didn't expect much from airport BBQ but this was pathetic. The brisket on the brisket sandwich was so dry that it was pulled apart like pulled pork and served on a basic white bun with no coleslaw.

Waited, waited, waited (should have left). Buns cold meat cold fries cold, potato salad was OK! Worse KC BBQ I've ever eaten.

Please don’t waste your money here. I got a brisket sandwich for 16.00 the size of a McDonald’s cheeseburger. My mother ordered a 1/2 ribs (4) not realizing only 4 but cost 28.00. Cousin was there the day before and was double charged 93.92. Just horrible

Food was okay but WAY overpriced. You don’t get much for the price. Each beer was $12 as well. Large bill for mediocre food

I eat The Beckett every chance I get and it is spot on. Equally delicious leftovers reheated in an air fryer.

SUB PAR FOOD AND TERRIBLE SERVICE

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat before our flight. We were met by a scowling waiter handed us a menu and immediately asked if we were ready to order. We politely asked for more time while he brought us water. When he returned with our water, he wouldn’t even look at our face while we ordered. If we needed something we had to flag down our waiter by loudly saying excuse me and waving because he would hurriedly walk past our table as he got food/drinks for others. When he did see us, he looked past my husband and stared with the most unfriendly and unwelcoming expression as if we were asking something that was an immense inconvenience. Again, he didn’t even have the courtesy to look at our faces. Later my husband asked for extra fries and he must not have heard us because he responded with “what” and his classic scowl. Our experience was pretty terrible and as my husband and I observed how he treated others, it was pretty much the same. It is clear that service and hospitality should not be expected here. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this establishment and do not recommend it to anyone.

The service was horrible and slow. Don't stop here if you have a flight to catch. Our it took and hour to get drinks and food for 4 people.

The burnt ends tasted good but came out cold (almost refrigerated). The fries were hot and fresh and tasted good.

Everyone at the table agreed the Cole slow was bad.

I would not stop here again.
