Awful! My mom was at another facility that closed and was doing good there. After moving here she immediately did not like it. March 13th they called and told me she wasn’t doing good but did not make it sound like it was an emergency because you would think they would have said she needed to go to the hospital if that was the case but they didn’t. My daughter went to see what was going on and immediately knew she needed to go to the hospital, when she got to the er she had a very bad black eye from a fall, her blood pressure was 80/39, she had a urinary tract infection, 2 level 2 and one level 3 bed sores, was extremely dehydrated and malnourished because she hasn’t been eating because the urinary tract infection had caused her to be nauseous and was in septic shock. She was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks before we brought her home the Friday before Easter on hospice and she passed on Easter. I asked the doctor at the hospital if she would have been brought in earlier if it would have been this bad and she said no if she had been brought in before the infection turned septic it would not have been. I would never ever ever send anyone to this awful facility. I miss her every day and hold them responsible for not paying attention to her medical needs. Along with all of that one of the staff made the comment unknowingly in front of my daughter that day “she’s fine she just likes the attention”. Obviously the condition she entered the hospital in she was not fine!

We have been very pleased with my mother-in-law’s care in the Memory Care unit at Villa. The administrator, the nurses, the techs and the dietary staff are compassionate and good at their jobs.
