Storage Masters - St. Charles, St Charles MO

I would never use this location again, or any of the locations. During the heavy July rains, our unit flooded, but they didn't bother to call and tell us until three days later. Can you imagine the damage caused by not being notified in a timely manner? I understand acts of God and not covering flooding. But, waiting three days to notify us is not an act of God - that is negligence and disrespect. My mother's wedding dress and a cedar chest sat in water for three days! This was all in a climate controlled unit that we paid extra for. Received the call about 4pm and then we were reminded we have to be out by 10pm or get locked in.

We are renting two storage units from the St. Charles location.
The environment and hospitality is like being at home.
Diane who manages this location make everyone feel like family.
I can say enough good about this facility.

We have used Storage Masters on Hemsath in St. Charles for almost a year and have dealt mainly with Diane. We have been very pleased with the helpfulness and quality of service both from Diane and the perks you get like the free use of the truck to move in (except for the gas and milage). We would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone we know.

Diane is phenomenal ti work with. I had to change the units twice because of size. She was by far the nicest and easiest person to work with that I've encountered in a very long time. Great location Clean And safe units.

Diane at the St. Charles location was super helpful and made everything a breeze! I was in and out with my new unit in no time!

We had just moved items into a climate control unit. Less than a month later there were heavy rains that caused flooding in a number of units. We only found out about the flooding 4 days the rain. When we arrived, another renter informed us she had takes with the office as to why it took so long to tell people and was told "I had a hundred people to contact". With as many locations and people who work at this location, they should have had sufficient staff to call at least in one day. When asked to compensate for two items their marketing person replied it is not covered under insurance. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

I needed to rent a storage unit to help with my home purge project. Diane made the process entirely painless. It’s great to actually be able to engage someone in conversation. Thanks for a pleasant experience! The unit was spotless as well!

Diane was very professional and friendly I was very satisfied with the customer service I received! The unit was clean and before I left there I knew exactly how to get to the unit and the hours of operation! It was an all around good experience and would recommend anyone.

This place is terrible. Had rented a unit for my daughter's college items. On the phone they asked if she had ID and I said yes a passport. They would not accept it and cancelled the reservation stating she had to have a state ID. A passport is legal ID. We live many miles away from her and they did nothing to help us. And I dont understand how a passport in not an ID. Do not use.

Diane or Denice (forgot the name) was confused throughout the whole process. While talking to the customers before us, she stated multiple times that she was confused by parts of documents they were signing and she seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. When my friend and I finally got our turn after waiting a long time, the lady claims that a passport card isn’t a valid form of ID although it is everywhere else. Diana stated many times she talked to my friends mom and made sure my friend had a “state ID”…. Bold face lie. She only stated “valid ID”. A passport card is a valid ID. This place seriously needs to get things straight. Even the email they sent only said “valid ID”. We will take our business elsewhere.

I only rented a unit for 4 months, but I was pleased with the unit. I was able to access it as promised. Diane was very personable during my rental and during my cancellation.

I would recommend this location to anyone looking to rent a storage unit.
