Nice, secure, climate-controlled building with easy ramp access for push carts and vehicles

When I moved out they double charged me. I have been waiting over a month to get my refund and they keep giving excuses as to why they have yet to refund me instead of just refunding one of the charges. Communication leaves something to be desired. They never refunded me and it's been over a year!

They are local and affordable for me. Storage of America is a nice, clean and spacious facility. The layout seems to be safe and secure also convenient as well. I just payed for my fourth month, the payment options are super easy and convenient.

Amy is super nice! When we opened up an account here, she made the hours very clear which we appreciated because the other night we couldn’t figure out how to close our storage door (it got stuck up in the air due to misshapen part of the metal door) and we couldn’t get their slider for the lock to go into a closed position, about 20 minutes till lockdown. And we were sweating it out if we were going to be spending the night in our unit or not. Luckily, we got out with 4 minutes to spare! Close call!

This storage complex is very confusing if you book online. DO NOT DRIVE A U-HAUL TRUCK INSIDE THE BUILDING. It doesn't warn you about this when you reserve and check out online. You won't clear the door, and the inside turns are impossible. Also, online reservations don't tell you that you will be provided a lock. So, I guess, buy a lock if you go in the middle of the night? Otherwise, the wonderful staff will provide you with one, and I'm not being sarcastic. Ms. Matlock was great when I met her in person, and she helped get us acclimated.
It says "climate controlled, " but that does NOT mean air conditioning. The place is a hot box with large inadequate fans. Plus, all the vehicles access the complex, drive through it, and leave their exhaust fumes to settle all over your items because the inside units have open ceilings with a wire grid that keeps intruders out but let's elements and security cameras in. I was told to cover my items with a sheet to protect them from dust and exhaust settling on them. Good tip! Now, as far as storage units are concerned, I don't have too much experience, but I'm not really a fan of this setup. I've used storage once before, where I had a full ceiling, no cars, and better temperatures. If you HAVE to store your things, do so for the least amount of time as possible and don't store things that are easily replaced. It just doesn't make financial sense. This is not negative review of this facility, by any means, just want to let people know what to expect.

Very informational very reasonable this is my first time contacting this business I will certainly past their business alone to others.

The day I went into the office it was ten minutes before closing. Amy had a few other customers ahead of me. She stayed open late to process the rental of my storage unit. Amy was polite, helpful, friendly and efficient. Kevin does a great job of keeping the facility clean and up and running. He was very helpful as well. Amy and Kevin are both very dedicated employees that treat their customers well and offer excellent customer service. I moved to Storage of America from Life Storage a few blocks away. The Life Storage facility was FILTHY! And had very limited office hours. Nobody in the Life Storage office seemed to care about the customers when they where open.

If you need storage in this area. Storage of America is the way to go!

Walked in today to check my unit. The locks been cut, they ransacked my unit and took some very important and sentimental items. They don't want to cover because of the lock which wasn't mentioned when I rented the unit. I ran across another lady that had the same issue. I think we need to file a class action suit

My storage unit was broken into, ransacked with items stolen…even though I carried insurance on the contents they refused to pay… even told me that it was a previous employee who had broken in! Do not rent from this company!

So far, I have reserved a unit online with a great locked in price. I called the "new customer" number to discuss my questions and was highly satisfied with the friendly customer service. Looking forward to storing my belongings with the storage facility.

I just finised moving my stuff out of a bedroom. Only to get here and all of the keypads are out! ZERO assess to my storage unit! Customer service refused to give me the number of the manager and the manager never called me! Two other people was here. One guy said he was here for three hours before me and lossed $150.00 because he couldnt get his obligations with his party bus! DONT waste your time with Storage of America!

It use to be we could get in til 11 and now we can't which makes it hard for me due to my circumstances. Part of the whole reason I liked the facility was the time of entry allows

Bigger storage than other storage facilities.
Very affordable than other storage places in saint Louis Drive in to your storage without having to deal with bad weather. Very friendly staff members. Great location. Security cameras with security codes to access. Makes it safe for you and your valuables. Keep up the good work. Dont just take my word for it. Go by there and check it out.

I started here because of the late hours now the hours are horrible, the emergency phone line never calls you back. Well they don't return calls at all period & there is no main office to talk to someone that has an answer to my questions.
