I didn't know this was a time share place. The guy a spoke with was Ron he was the best and understanding why I couldn't join at this time due to medical. He tried, but didn't waste our time either. My whole family feel in love with the property, I felt safe there with security 24/7. Our cottage was like home away from home. We will be back, everyone was so nice.

We love this place. Having a whole house for yourself and not worrying about the children disturbing the guests on floor below. We have stayed here many times, very nice.

Warn property. Pushy sales people (was not a owner's update as told)
Another scam.
Property is in need of up keep. Money paid by membership needs looked into.

It was ok. Right as you walk in the building to check in, you first go to one desk, and then they send you tickets and timeshares for a parking pass. Then you get bombarded with questions like what shows have you seen, they try to sell you timeshares. Also, I'm pretty sure our cottage Newport 7 was haunted. The bottom room. The radio kept coming on at different times through the night, and I kept hearing noises to the point that I thought someone else was there. This all happened on the bottom floor. Nothing happened at the top bedroom. Even though I couldn't sleep in the bottom floor bedroom because of how I felt like someone else was there, and could of swore i heard one of the door knobs rattle, overall the cottage was pretty cute, except the floor in the living room, which probably wasn't swept. But it was still a nice cottage, just a little haunted.

We adore this resort for family trips. We love that we can all stay together in one place and make memories.

Cottages are clean, plenty of space for 6 or 8 people. They provide dishes, laundry in the homes, and super easy check out process.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to our last visit. My parent's bathroom tub (main bathroom) had SEVERE mold/ mildew in the tub. I talked to the office and showed pics and they claim to have sent someone to clean it but that definitely didn't happen. Otherwise, great place!

We go for the entertainment. We are local and know nothing about rooms. Seems crowded in the distance between units.

Been 2x in the last month or so both times the ball was definitely dropped. They need to do some up keep and get better staff. I had issues with front desk person Brittany both times I stayed. That lady should be in the back not in a position of customer service she wasn’t helpful anytime we called or during check in. Ice maker and sink were broken the house and we were told no other place to get ice and someone would come look at it he comes and says we’ll you have to turn it on keep in mind there is a picture that shows you where the bar should be for it to be on he turned it off… so we pointed out the diagram he says oh… i’ll come look tomorrow and never came back.we asked for towels and laundry soap 2x they came the next day as we were walking out to check out…. I also asked if we could be moved because we were right by the pool and playground Brittany’s immediate response is we are at full capacity this is after another girl tells me it’s the slow season. While at my stay there were 3 houses across from me empty all weekend she clearly lied and didn’t even care to look. Houses look nice and have nice accommodations however something has been broken each stay and no one to fix and having a bad attitude at front desk is totally unacceptable I feel like the ball was dropped badly on both stays

We were delighted with our stay. Our house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We sat on our deck every night. Centrally located to shows and attractions. Great customer service. Our waitress in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely go back. We had no high pressure sales pitch at all.

We’ve stayed at SPV several times and each time has gotten worse. This time, the rooms were so dirty. There was trash still in the rooms, smudges all over the walls, dishes were put away dirty, the floors were FILTHY, there was mold in the shower. The concierge was very rude when we politely declined offers. We were so disappointed in our stay.

Stormy Point Village is in desperate need of updating. You can tell the units and pool have seen better days as has most of Branson. The main reason I’m giving a one star is because our unit was dirty. The floors were absolutely disgusting and there were black hairs all over the covers and in our sheets. Bring your own cleaning products if you are staying at Stormy Point and wear socks or house shoes at all times!

I read many prior reviews before booking. It sounded like the main complaints were 1) cleanliness/bedbugs; 2) the timeshare hard sell. We stayed at 10 South Bay and didn't have issues with either of these. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed (was missing blankets but when I called, they were brought to us right away). As for the timeshare hard sell, at check in we were offered the presentation in exchange for $150 credit, but we declined, weren't pressured any further, and were promptly given our parking pass. Great amenities at the resort and proximity to everything we wanted to do. I enjoyed the Salty Dog happy hour, daily treats and coffee in the reception area, and sitting by the pool. My one complaint is that they didn't have accessible wifi by the pool, but no biggie.

House was dirty! Pillow fell on floor and picked it up, covered with hairs and dust. They recleaned floors and still covered in hair. Housekeeper said all the houses are that bad because they are never cleaned. Bathroom door handle fell off. Upstairs bathroom door did not latch so it would swing open randomly. Bathtubdrain stop doesnt work. Maintenance only fixed the door habdle that fell off. Hide-a-bed mattress was gross with stains, so we slept 3 to a bed. Phones don't work. We were happy waterside was open, but the girl at the top didn't pay attention when sending kids down and we witnessed many crashes on the slide. The restaurant used to be good, but the new staff are terrible and rude. I didn't think it could get worse, but it is dirtiest are more falling apart every visit. The pool was resurfaced and all ready peeling off. The dark blue makes it hard to see kids (especially when pool lights are burnt out). We won't be back, it's so gross that we won't even do the free nights again.

The location is great near many restaurants and attractions. Our kids really enjoyed the fun water park, however, the cottages themselves were absolutely filthy. We had to wear shoes at all times, as the floors were covered in dust and dirt. Our socks and feet were completely black the first day there while simply walking around in our cottage - not a good feeling, especially with two small children. Also, we found bed bugs the day that we were leaving in 44 Old Warf. The lack of cleanliness was disturbing, we would never stay here again. We did report this to the front desk and was told a manager would contact us, but when I showed pictures of the bed bugs and the filth, it didn’t seem to phase her - that’s a huge issue. If you can’t clean your units to a normal standard, you shouldn’t be running a resort.

The cottages are nice in size. Love they aren’t connected to any other units. Pools and water park are small with so many units. Activities for kids should be free. Not sure the house keeping is up to par anymore. Requested a handicap accessible room and did not receive one. So if you need one and they say 13 is your room refuse it! I left my list of concerns with Shelby at the front desk and was told I’d hear from the general manager, we’ll see.

I originally went the week of July 4th 2023
As of yet I have NOT heard from anyone (it 8/11/2023) and I'm pretty sure over a month is plenty of time to respond.

Headed into Sept 2023 and STILL NOTHING. So changing my rating to one star.

The unit we had was a bit beat up, but overall the stay was great! Every time we had an issue the guys were on top of it immediately. My girlfriend was throwing up sick the day we had to leave though, and absolutely NO late check out. That was a real bummer.

Rooms are so comfortable, we had too many pillows to confort and they were so soft. The bed was amazing to resting for vacation days. Everything was clean. I must to say, if you travel with a baby or toddler you must need blackouts curtains for windows it is too much light to our toddler. But Everything was so far so good. The food at the restaurant was so good and they have such a very good prices. If you are in a family travel don't hesitate to go there is incredible. At nights it is so quite. Just perfect!

The facility is very nice. All cottages are clean and well kept. My only complaint is the high-pressure sales. They treat you like it's your obligation to attend their sales meetings.

We had to wait 30 minutes to get our parking pass because they wanted us to talk to them about buying their timeshare. The houses were run down after 10 years of being open. My mom owned here so we have watched this place run down hill. We were sad to see the floors rotting and molding as well as the services were poor. The customer service people hung up on I when we asked for towels. Oh, and ANTS all week in the kitchen!

A fun family-friendly resort! The kids loved the impressive on-site water park, and the homes were a delightful. The location is convenient, making it an attractive choice overall.

Housekeeping needs to step up their cleaning game; the floors were clearly not cleaned before our arrival, as indicated by the dirt on our feet. Pool maintenance also requires improvement, as the main pool was cloudy and not well-maintained. There were several things in our unit that were broken and we had to work with management to resolve. House wasn’t stocked with any towels. Overall dirty.

We had an overall positive experience, but won’t be rushing back to stay here.

Resort is super family friendly. Great water park on-site for kids. The cabins are wonderful. Location is great! Overall a good experience.

Be prepared for a timeshare pitch. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning, floors were not cleaned prior to our stay as evidenced by the bottoms of our feet being dirty from walking on them. Maintenance also could do better with pool maintenance. The main pool was cloudy and not well maintained. We noticed ants in our cabin in the second day which was promptly remedied. I would expect routine pest control at a resort of this size, but it appears that is not done either.

Despite issues, we would consider staying again. Beautiful place but room for improvement.
