Strange Donuts, Creve Coeur MO

Do not go here. These donuts are horrible. Probably the worst I’ve had from a donut shop. I paid $7 for a basic donut and coffee just to be disappointed for an overpriced rock
You can tell that the donuts are not fried fresh daily. Donuts are not displayed in a traditional case for customers to view. Based on the quality I wouldn’t be surprised if their donuts are refrigerated and kept for several days shelf life. That’s not what a highly priced donut should be!
In my 8+ years of working in a bakery and being a donut fryer there’s no way these donuts are made fresh daily

I absolutely love this place, all of the cool donut options looked so delicious. They change their menu monthly, so I’m excited to come back to try the new donut flavors. The nice lady at the front counter told me their raspberry jelly is so good, and she wasn’t lying! I could just eat the raspberry jelly plain, it’s so so good. We will definitely be back!

Actually had never been there before. Donuts looked good and the person behind the counter was friendly. I ordered 3 donuts, 2 being iced. The employee put them in a bag - I could instantly tell it would be a mess. The icing was all over the bag. Don't know what's going on with the icing, but it's almost liquid (and the donuts weren't even hot). It simply ran off of the donuts, got all over the bag and the other donuts. If you're going to make icing like that, you certainly shouldn't stack them on top of each other in a bag. The donuts were such a mess, I just pitched the entire bag.: - (

UPDATE AS OF JULY 2023: Thought I'd give this place another try as I was passing by. Mistake. Got 2 donuts. They're not fresh, but were refrigerated and cold. The chocolate icing was so thin, you could hardly even taste it, and it was almost liquid getting all over the bag and the other donut. I ate about 1/4 of each donut and then threw them out. There's much better and fresher choices around.

This was our first time of having strange Donuts I'll just say we'll never get them again bad baking.

Wonderful donuts, especially the gooey butter. I’ll take one star off bc 6 donuts cost 17.00. The guy behind the counter was wonderful

No menu for donuts. I was the only one in the store and the worker made me feel like I was bothering her.

My EXTREMELY picky 5 year old stuffed his Lil face.

Altogether we ordered 2 cinnamon stuffed cinnamon donut things. 3 glazed donuts. A raspberry stuffed. A Christmas sprinkle. A white long John. 2 almond lattes. And a milk for a little less than 35, with a tip we spent 40.52$.

Great experience!

The place was not nice, it was the worst apple fritter I have ever had, there were only maybe 8 options and 2 donuts and a coffee cost me $10.

Female staff is RUDE and yelled at me! There r so many other options nearby. Please do not come here!
They don’t have a menu in store and the prices varies by donuts. And some donuts are out of stock. So, the staff in the counter said I can stand closer to pick what I want. And then, the female staff came out from the kitchen and yelled at me angrily. What’s wrong with you? I have already gained the approval from another staff. You two should have an agreement first instead of yelling at a customer who has no idea about your rules!

Everyone hyped this place up so since i was in the area i decided to try the place out. NASTY NASTY NASTY.
I do understand they are strange donuts however i paid 20.00 for some hard cold donuts they taste like they were made the day before and refrigerated no thanks will never go back again

I stopped in here with my kids while visiting. The donuts didn’t look super appetizing to me (I have been spoiled growing up by our local donut shoppe where I live) but they were absolutely DELICIOUS!

No, they don’t have a menu or pricing, however, the man running the place was happy to explain every donut. There were some different “strange” donuts that we didn’t try them as we are pretty basic. We got 5 donuts (3 long John’s, 1 glazed, and 1 other iced donut), a soda, and a milk and it came to about $16, which seems a bit steep to me, but again they were tasty and worth it. They don’t “dissolve in your mouth” like say a Krispy Kreme. They are more thicker/fuller. The worker was sweet and offered my littles stickers. We would visit again!

NASTY!
The place was filthy on the inside, inappropriate music blasting from the back kitchen. Flies everywhere. My wife and I decided not to get a donut but our child wanted one. Once we got into the car and she started eating it, it was raw on the Inside. 1 star rating is too high of a rating.

After having this place hyped up toe for quite awhile decided to finally try it. The one vegan option they had was a basic sugar donut with custard in it and frankly it was not good at all. The only thing that had any flavor was the sugar crystals themselves. Disappointed for sure
