Studio Anew Salon, Spa & Float Center, St. Louis MO

Got my hair colored with Ellie and it cost almost $100 more than the listed cost on their website. On their website, they say a root touch up is $65 and Ellie tried charging me $150 at the end without even consulting with me first to see if it was okay. After discussing it with another employee, they agreed to charge me somewhere in the middle ($105), which I paid but was unhappy about. If the cost is going to be a significant difference than what it says on the website, employees should check with the customers before doing their hair to make sure this is okay with them. Ellie also blow dried my hair and I told her she didn't need to dry it all the way because my hair takes a long time to dry, but she didn't listen to me and blow dried my hair fully anyway and charged me extra for that as well.

Wow! I just wanna start by saying I walked in expecting things to go wrong since I was using a Groupon but OMG my hair turned out AMAZING! I got a single process, cut, and style for a great price and everyone was so friendly! I had Eli Qamo and I highly recommend her! (Before and after pics of my hair for reference)

I was given a Groupon for Mother’s Day from my daughter. I called a few weeks later to schedule an appointment and had to wait about 10 days to find a time that would work. I was assured the girl they gave me was a color expert with a lot of experience. I wanted to cover the grey, high lights and low lights and a haircut. My appt was at 2: 45. I called the day of my appt at 1: 00 to verify who I’d be seeing and was told they apologize but was just getting ready to call me & cancel because the stylist I had was running behind. Cancel? I asked if anyone else could do it and of course no one was available. I told her I waited almost 2 weeks and really needed a cut and she said they could try & squeeze me in for maybe a cut. Try and squeeze me in? Really? I had a 2: 45 appointment. I asked for a manager and she said they did not have one in on Saturday. I’d have to call next week. Very Unprofessional, inconsiderate and uncaring. DO NOT PURCHASE A GROUPON YOU ARE TREATED LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN. Any other salon would have someone try and accommodate not this one I was asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day which I work till 5: 00 and would have to wait over a week again. Dissatisfied customer.

Recently had the best massage ever there! I recommend them and I get perfect haircuts there also. Make an appointment today.

After having several different services done at this location i can honestly say that everyone there is super friendly, helpful and extremely kind!

I booked in advance for an style/updo for a wedding shared the timeline. The stylist they booked me with was 22 minutes late for my appointment. They should have called me or at least told me when I arrived.

Very clean, nice staff and quite space for meditation. I floated, got a message and got a pedicure. But they had hair and makeup services available too. A full service type of place.

We came to St. Louis on a girls trip. We were serviced by Eva for our pedicures. Eva was prpfessional and accomodating. She provided a great service. Next, we were serviced by Kelly for our spa treatment. Kelly did an amazing job working the knots out of my lower back and shoulders. These ladies are keepers! I would recommend services at Studio Anew.
I did not give a 5 star review because the room where the massage occurs is directly across from a stylist chair, so you can hear outside conversations while trying to relax. However, Kelly's hands made it all worth it.

I had a Swedish massage with Jessica and it was by far the best one I’ve ever had. She really took her time and you can tell she wanted it to be the best experience for me. I will be back!

It was clean and not very crowded at a time. Staff were nice and helpful. I got my work done by Samantha, she was understanding and careful. She spent enough time on my works.

We absolutely loved the couples float. The shower was great, the blow dryer was a nice touch. Qtips and cotton available too. Cold water for later, tea and coffee.

We did get hot after 35 minutes and it was hard to breathe a little, maybe a fan would help so we didn't have to open the pod door?

We would recommend this to friends!

My fiancé surprised me with a float, manicure, and pedicure at Studio Anew.

I was offered the larger float pod that looked as if it was intended to fit 2 people. The float was nice, however it was too warm for me and I was sweating. I cracked the door open and noticed mold on the bottom of the door. There were also rust stains in the pod. Aside from that, the float was very relaxing.

Eva did my manicure and pedicure. She was very personable and nice but she did not do a good job. The second and third coat did not cover my entire nail, or the entire first coat. Essentially my nails just look a complete mess! The picture was taken the day after I got my nails done. I’ve gotten plenty of professional manicures before and I have never had such terrible results.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean and calm. The staff were kind and knowledgeable.

I visited on a list minute booking for a float. Not only were they able to accommodate me but they made me feel at ease during a time that I was on the brink of a complete mental meltdown.

My float suite was clean and comfortable. I also didn't feel rushed as I have at other float partners in the area.

Thank you so much, Studio Anew, for having a space for me to release the stress that has been building up in me for some time now. As a mental health professional, this is so important right now. I will definitely be returning.

Had an amazing prenatal massage from Patti! Made me feel so comfortable through out the whole massage. She took her time and was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Very personable person and could definitely tell she loves what she does. Thank you again patti, you’re amazing!

Everyone at Studio Anew was great. I enjoyed a much needed day of relaxation with my very first float tank experience followed by a massage. I'll definitely be back!

Jenny is the BEST hair dresser ever! She takes her time to make you look great and is wonderful with kids too! If you want a great stylist who provides the utmost quality and care, look no further than Studio Anew!
