On my first visit, I had Rob for the stylish, and he was awesome. Rob listened to what I wanted for cut and style. He did exactly that and exceeded my expectations. Rob took his time with me and actually had a real conversation. If I could have, I would have given this salon and Rob more than 5 stars.
The most snooty, unprofessional and outright disrespectful experience I have ever had from a stylist. Will not be returning.
Erika Dillender is absolutely AMAZING! I’ve been seeing her for years. She can do anything from blondes to fun colors and keeping my new black extension looking fresh and perfect every time. She will give you confidence in yourself every time.
I do not normally write reviews, but I figured I would write this one to save someone else the aggravation!
Since my regular hair stylist was on vacation, I decided to make an evening appointment with another stylist at the Studio Branca Chesterfield location last week. After driving all the way down to the salon, I was met with a sign taped to the front door saying that the salon was closed due to air conditioning issues. Since I did not receive a phone call, email, or text, I had no idea. Communication is key! I decided to call their Creve Coeur location to speak with a manager. The manager apologized and said that she was not sure why someone did not communicate with me about the issues at the Chesterfield location. I asked her when my stylist was coming back from vacation, and she advised me that my stylist would be back the following Monday. She said she would have her call me to schedule an appointment. Monday morning, I received a text from the salon advising me that my stylist was no longer available for a men's cut, and I would have to schedule with another stylist. I decided to call the salon to find out why my stylist was no longer available. The receptionist stated that my stylist had too many clients and she was going to let some of her current clients go. Keep in mind that I have seen her three times in the past with no issues. Not only did the salon fail to effectively communicate with me causing me to waste my time and money driving down to the salon, my stylist decided to divorce me as her client! Completely unacceptable, truly unprofessional and extremely uncalled for!
Customer beware!
Update: On Monday, 8-8-22, the stylist in question reached out to me and apologized for the lack of communication from her and the business. She said she was going to eliminate most of her men's cuts and just concentrate on other services.
