Over priced and they are not worried about your satisfaction. Tried both locations and yes I’m a slow learner. Even showed pictures of what I wanted…a waste time. They push their products consistently.

I booked Studio Branca online to get my hair done. They called me right when I booked, and said “nobody is Available to take your appointment today” and then another 5 minutes later I had a stylist from the salon call me back and said she could take me and “didn’t know why they said nobody could take me”. When I booked online it said the starting price was $152 for a foilyage? So I’m like okay, cool they can get me in! But FAILED to tell me she was a MASTER LEVEL 7 STYLIST (didn’t tell me until I checked out) and that her being a level 7 master stylist would affect the pricing. I wasn’t told about pricing the ENTIRE TIME, I just assumed it would be the price that I booked for online! So I come in, and I’m STANDING in the lobby for 25 minutes because she was finishing her client (im 33 weeks pregnant so it wasn’t very fun standing waiting) finally they sit me down and talk about how I booked for the foilyage and that we could definitely accomplish that today. She goes back with her assistant, mixes lightener then gets right to work. Keep in mind I have SHORT HAIR. The hair in my nape is about 1 inch, and my hair is cut into a lob. I’m noticing that there is no hand painting going on. I work in the salon industry so I knew she wasn’t doing a foilyage. She was foiling teasy lights and horizontal weaves.a full foil was listed for $126 so I’m already confused when she just said that we were doing the foilyage? Then at the bowl asks me “do you want to leave with wet hair or style? ” I’m like WHAT? Who asks that. I’m like “can you blow dry my hair please? ” So in the end, she finished my hair, I rebooked then they tell me my total is 310. I’m like wait WHATTT?
So then I’m like I thought it was 150? And receptionist goes “if budgeting was an issue, you should have stressed that to the stylist” then after complaining they told me I was no longer welcome at their salon. 4 cosmetology instructors at my school agreed this was poor service. Rude as hell worst salon experience of my life. I feel utterly disrespected. On top of it all, they had the “manager” call me back and had the nerve to tell me “this is a upscale salon, everyone in St. Louis knows we are expensive”. Like excuse me? Who the f* do these people think they are?

I love Studio Branca in Creve Coeur. Meghan and Traci are amazing and take care of all my waxing needs. Anna is the best of the best in hair. She keeps my hair color and style looking flawless. Clean, vibrant atmosphere. Front desk staff is friendly and efficient. Worth every penny I spend. After my first experience at Studio Branca, I do not have enough words for how great the staff is! It was my first time getting a hair cut here after a previous haircut gone wrong at another salon and I was extremely nervous! My hairstylist, Jessica, was the sweetest and was so nice to me when I was having anxiety. She did an absolute phenomenal job on my hair and I am completely in love with it. She was also extremely knowledgable about hair and what products I should use. I could tell she was not just trying to sell products on me but she genuinely cared and wanted to help. Will be returning!

I don't even know where to start on how INCREDIBLE my stylist is! I have been going to her for a year and a half now and she's amazing! She's not only extremely talented, but she truly cares about her clients.

I went to this studio to get my hair coloured and cut from stylist Julie Anderson. Let me start off by saying I did not get what I want. After spending 10minutes with me, Julie started juggling between me and an another client. I honestly didn’t get the service I paid for. Moreover she literally spent only 5minutes on my haircut. I felt rushed and unwelcomed at this studio and would not prefer going back. Thank you for disheveled hair.

Amazing experience here. All the stylists were so welcoming and nice. Excellent customer service and my hair turned out amazing. It was done in great time and was exactly what I wanted.

I got my hair extensions here originally I was pleased and thought the service was good (expensive but you get what you pay for). I purchased 4 bundles of tape in hair extensions and got them put in for a total of around $1200. When I got sold these extensions and service I was told I could use these extensions for close to a year depending on how fast my hair grows. Mine was growing pretty good plus I had short hair so you could really tell where the tapes where on the top of my head by the fourth week. I had gotten them pushed up 3 times ($400 each time) the last time I got them taken out and I was told they were going to be put in a “hair bank” with the salon and I could come back at a later time since I was going to a water park vacation and I didn’t want to damage them. Life happened I ended up not going back I ended up pregnant and needed to focus finances elsewhere. Fast forward to last week I called the salon asking about my extensions and they not only tell me they don’t have a “hair bank” but they can’t find my extensions and the stylists are all responsible for there clients products.

After telling me for 5 days by the front desk specifically Mayce and Shawna who says she is a front desk manager BTW I was going to hear back from a manager I STILL HAVE NEVER heard from one.

I did get a call from my stylist and she told me she threw them out. When asking why I was told at the year mark from purchase date they are thrown out by the stylist (Julie). After spending this kind of money I would think at some point before taking it upon myself to throw the hair out the professional thing to do (even if they are unusable as she said, but she was going to put them back in my head before) would be to reach out to see if the person wanted the hair or to come in for service pointing out the fact that the hair is going to be discarded of if they are not being used within this amount of time. I never heard anything from them giving me a heads up of this. I was told since I didn’t keep contact WITH THEM they were discarded. I haven’t went to any other salon since my service with them life just happened and I lost track of time.

Needless to say there has been nothing done about the situation. The stylist put the blame onto me and no manager has returned a call!

Isabella was fantastic thank you so much I honestly don’t know what I would have done without you. My hair was breaking apart and was like ramen noodles. I saw her and she helped fix my hair it feels better already she is an angel I’m so grateful

I always look forward to my appointments with Taylar. Not only is she so personable, but she is excellent at what she does. She listens and works hard to get the cut and color I want every time. It’s obvious she really cares and takes pride in her work.

Julie Anderson Guccione is absolutely amazing. I trust her completely with my hair from the color and cut to styling. She also has a wonderful relaxing head massage during your shampoo and conditioning which will make you forget every problem in the world. She’s the best!

I called on a Saturday to see if they had any openings that day to get my haircut! They were able to have me in a chair 15 minutes later. Kristie M.did a wonderful job! I asked for long layers with a tapered face frame and that’s exactly what I got. I was in and out in an hour. I even grabbed a couple of hair products on the way out. I will definitely be coming back and requesting Kristie!

They are professionals and they understand hair and skin needs. This is the best salon I have ever experienced. I will travel from the east coast from now on the have my hair cut.

Meghan is great and does a very good job, makes you feel at easy and relaxed. The front desk staff needs to be more detailed when making or changing appointments. I have had appointments made for a different day or time then was requested on the phone. Had to move an appointment to the following week, and they only moved a portion of the appointment and was not told till I arrived and had to reschedule the portion of the appointment that had not been moved. Again the service is great, but the front desk staff needs to follow through with details. It is easier to make an appointment with your provider before leaving or online.
