Subway, Independence MO

Saw the new commercial for BOGO footlongs on TV last night and ordered through the app. Upon my arrival at this store, I was met by an employee that informed me they were "out of bread, " there was nothing he could do, and I would have to wait until this morning for a refund. This was at 7: 30 at night.a full 1 1/2 hours before this store's scheduled closing time (9: 00 PM). I find it hard to believe that a store that gets their bread delivered in frozen sticks that they keep in a freezer, then then bake in an oven has run out of bread. It seems like this particular worker just wanted to close up shop early and get out of there. I will never return to this location. I still haven't received my refund either.

Please bring back eggs. Staff was friendly and polite. Bread was soft and fresh. All ingredients were delicious.

Friendly employees. Clean store. They work pretty quickly, and I got in and out of there in a decent amount of time. Never really crowded here, or perhaps I'm lucky.

Store only had 1 employee at dinner time. But he had great customer service and was very calm when got busy. He is an asset to this location. He deserves a raise. Said it was only his 5 day on job and was alone. He did a great job and served fresh food.

Store manager, Kim, was definitely friendly and efficient. She was also confident in her sandwich prepping skills when she guaranteed me "that my sandwiches were going to be the best ones I'd ever had from a Subway cuz she was the best sandwich maker in the entire metro. " Both sandwiches were on point, so she may have just been right about those statements. Thanks again, Kim, for the awesome grub! I'll be using your location as my main Subway now, and anyone reading this review should do the same.

Ordered 40$ for 2 subs and both subs had the wrong toppings. We tried to call but again no ANSWER. Very unsatisfied!

They don’t even deserve stars. They were rude and hateful when taking my order. I was asked what sandwich and i had to think so he kept asking “what sandwich” so i looked at their options of meat and the man goes “that isn’t even correlated to the sandwich you want so why are you looking at that? ” he didn’t ask if i wanted my food toasted but asked my 2 friends that were with me if they wanted theirs toasted. They then asked what veggies i wanted and then continued to give me the slightest bit of veggies i asked for.the spin age was disgusting looking and was bad. I will not be going back to your location. You 2 employees were disrespectful and rude.

Fly landed on a sandwich being made didn't change the bread until I said something and she saw the fly land on it and then proceeded to say 'It's just gonna keep happening'. And then put the bread that had the fly on it back into the fresh bread. Pretty nasty.

I just went to this Subway at approximately 7pm, when I was pulling into the parking lot I seen a person walking away from the store, we heard someone scream something in our direction, but proceeded into the store, as we entered it was clear that there was nobody inside, then a Subway employee walked in saying " I ain't Never gonna be able to go get my food"? I asked where are you getting your food, but the employee didn't respond, the employee was Angry that we were interrupting their plan to go pick food up somewhere (guess we were an inconvenience to them) ? The employee went into the room behind the sub station for an extended period of time and we already felt uncomfortable and didn't trust them making our food, so we took our business elsewhere. What is going on with customer service these days? Who leaves a store unattended? Who gets mad at customers that choose to come spend $40-$50 on sandwiches that supports those very employees? I know things get overwhelming at work, but this is crazy. I will never do business with this location again. It might be a good idea for a supervisor, a manager or even the franchisees to inform this employee that their actions are unacceptable and put the store and customers at risk.

First off they were nice however the manager when I questioned my price she read the things off but didn't finish reading everything ended up paying it was they charged me for four sandwiches when I only got three sandwiches then I've been on the phone literally for 45 minutes trying to get someone to answer and no one will pick up

Very nice food here given you don't mind a bit of a wait during busy hours the people here are nothing but sweet and very helpful their tones and how they treat people more than make up for a small wait if you have been to the subway on 40HWY by sonic and compare it to this place it's a night and day difference everyone there is the best in the neighborhood

Very short! I was waiting she says to me What kind of bread! What kind of cheese very gruff I was thinking oh how are you today! She was not a people person. Won't go back to that store

Friendly service. Took the time to prepare a sandwich exactly the way I wanted. Good ingredients, fresh tasting.

New and clean restaurant in sugar creek.but prices have went up (along w everything else in the world.unfortunately.)

Visited today 5/2 @ 1pm for lunch; the service wasnt welcoming or friendly - it was quite the opposite. I paid $10.05 for a sandwich with 1 piece of turkey and 1 piece of ham, cheese and mayo + a drink. So I mostly have stale bread and a drink for lunch. The store was bare and the music was blarring. After paying one employee mouthed under her breath to the other. Such a negative vibe and experience, I wont be back.

I ordered 4 sandwiches online. The sandwiches were not ready by the time that it said they would be. Two of the sandwiches were right but 2 were completely wrong. One had missing toppings and the other was an entirely different sandwich than what I had even ordered. The people working were not very friendly and the food was smashed. I would recommend just going to Firehouse. They always get their online orders right and they are very friendly.

Friendly staff and whenever ordering online usually have no issue with having your order ready for you by the time you arrive.
