I am loving my time here ……I would highly recommend this community ……
The area is good, near the train station, the gym is well maintained and there are plenty of events here …. The apartments are really good and with all the good events here you will never get bored ……The best thing is about the amenities and the care they give for dogs …. Leasing office is really good and helpful……You get the best for the price you pay in St Louis so I highly recommend

Awful. If I could, I would give it Zero stars. This place does not respond to emails. Maintenance and the managment will lie about how long it takes to get things fixed. I have lived here over a year and a half now and the upstairs neighbors dishwasher broke due to maintenance working on it. It flooded my apartment. They told me they would have it done in a week. Lies. It took two months for everything to be fixed. They would send people in to work in my apartment without giving me notice. The dust was everywhere and they never clean up. They made my Electricity bill increase by over $100. They tried to blame it on the weather but I hd past bill and i was on vacation. They told me they would get back to me about the Credit i am due and it’s been 3 months of silence. They won’t respond to my emails. Terrible place i can’t WAIT to move out.

Management is bad. They do not care about the residents. The apartment is faulty. They will let people in your apartment without telling you and then they do not clean up after those people enter. They run up your electricity and then tell you, “oh you will get credit back” then never respond.

Good place to live. Two buildings/phases. Phase I is somewhat dated in places (built 6+ years ago) vs. Phase 2. Also only able to access your phase. Printers never work. Dog wash station, but drainage isn’t great so it can smell at times.

I’ve lived at Sunnen Station for the last 6 months. So far my stay has been fantastic! The amenities are top notch. Compared to other apartments in the area. You legitimately get what you pay for the cost of living. The staff are always super nice & friendly and work extra hard to help accommodate me whenever I have any inquiries or issues. Maintenance tech works his butt off to keep the tight ship running & handle my requests. I’ve lived in several different complexes over the course of my life. I can honestly say this place holds the title of supreme. I realize how good I have it living at Sunnen. Recommend 100%///5 out 5 * /// A+! !

I lived in Sunnen Station for three years, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience there! The amenities are fantastic, the location is great (~10 min drive to WashU), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Any “cons” are small/are inherent in any renting situation.

The apartments are ridiculously nice (very tall ceilings, beautiful kitchen, tons of natural light, etc.). Without a doubt, Sunnen is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in so far!

For anyone who is waiting to get in this apartment building (PHASE 1), I strongly suggest you reconsider. The staff in the leasing office could care less about the property and will not address any of your concerns. The building maintenance is lazy and does not keep up the care of the building like they should. The pool has algae and has not been properly cleaned or inspected, I don't care what the leasing office says, those ladies in that office have not left the office since they got hired. They have no real care or concern what happens in the building. The cleaning crew hired to clean the building does the bare minimum and have been doin so for the last year and a half. All they do is vacuum the entrance rugs, take out the trash and mop the lobby with dirty water. The carpets haven't been cleaned or replaced in over a year, and the trash room is always filthy. There are stains on the carpet that look like someone dragged a dead body thru the hallway. Even the simple thinks like refilling the hand sanitizer by the back door haven't been done. The sad part is the residence who live here really love and appreciate the area so much that they are willing to pay and put up with the decline in care for this property. It's sad but true.

In February of 2023 we signed up to be on a waiting list for an apartment. We put $350 down understanding that $50 was a non refundable application fee. By the end of March it became apparent that the apartment may not be available when needed at the first of June. We found another apartment and requested a refund of the waiting list deposit of $300 on March 27th. We were told it would be 30 to 45 days. Our first inquiry as to when the refund may come was May 12th. We were told to wait. After many inquiries and a supposed check mailed to a wrong address, no refund. When inquiring on June 6th we were told to wait another 14 days. This is looking very suspicious; in other words a scam. At each call we are told something that does not come true. We have spoken to Piper several times, Jessica and the property manager Nicole who assured us on the 18th of May that she was sending a list to the accountants to mail out refunds. It is not difficult to mail a check.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the leasing office at Sunnen Station Apartment. I have attempted to contact the office on multiple occasions and have emphasized in my messages that I am currently working in California and unable to visit the property in person. Despite this, my initial inquiry was met with a generic response that did not address any of the specific questions I had asked and instead asked me if I could come in for an on-site visit in St. Louis, which made me feel like my message had not been read or taken seriously.
After responding to the initial email to reiterate that I could not visit the property in person and asking my questions again, it took several days to receive a response that only addressed one of my inquiries and included the same generic message as before, albeit with the irrelevant request for an on-site visit removed. This kind of rude and dismissive attitude from the leasing office staff has left me with absolutely no desire to spend any more time communicating with them.
Overall, I would not recommend Sunnen Station Apartment based on my experience with the leasing office staff. The lack of communication and disregard for my inquiries is unacceptable and has left a poor impression of the property and its management.

This place is great.had some issues when I moved in but everything was taken care of promptly and successfully. The management and maintenance are really nice and helpful. The residents seem to be friendly.looking forward to being here for a while.
