Super 8 by Wyndham Bonne Terre

Front desk service was pleasant. The room was not that great. Room 112 needs new carpet, and new furniture up grade. The window did not have a screen in it. It said the room would be $55.00 a night and it cost me $76.00 for the night.

Used to stay here often with a group that does prison ministry. Was always clean and comfortable. The last time our group stayed here we decided not to come back. The rooms were dirty. Carpeting, especially hallways and stairs was filthy black. Old furniture was piled up in the back side area of the hotel. One of our group had dried blood on the carpet in his room. Drive the extra few miles and stay in Farmington. The Super 8 there is nice plus lots of other hotels and restaurants to chose from.

This room, had roaches, the carpet was filthy, there was a broken chair in the room. I told them about it. They never came to take it out and didn't bring another chair. There. Was black mold in the bathroom. The room had a very bad oder. Also about 1 30 a.m. There were people in the hall screaming. This use to be a nice place to stay. But ill never stay there again, and ill never advisee anyone I know to stay there.

I have gone to this hotel at least 6 times within the past couple of years. It used to be about a 3-4 star but the last few times I stayed it was absolutely a 1 star. I'm not sure if y'all have new management or what but it has gone downhill. My most recent visit, the first night we stayed in room 106, the AC unit barely blew out any air (brought it to the worker's attention He came in and looked at it and said it works That's just how much blows out) the toilet seat and toilet base are so loose I almost fell off the toilet (This is also supposed to be a handicap accessible room), I could only get about six stations to work on the TV, It's like all the other stations weren't connecting. On the positive side, The refrigerator and microwave worked well. We decided to stay another night (car issues) so we moved to room 226. The air conditioner worked but it smelt like stinky dog and dog urine so bad that I had to keep it off and open the window. It was obvious dogs stayed in this room for maybe a long period of time. I would think they would clean the carpet to get that smell out of there especially from the AC unit. The TV did work fine in this room. The smell was so bad that we ended up leaving early, we checked out and left. I've seen bed bugs here in the past. I just think this hotel needs to do some deep cleaning and some repairs.

This by far has been the worst room I have ever stayed in. It stank, it was full of cockroaches, the bedspread had burn holes in it, and we were charged $75.00 more than what we were quoted over the phone. If I could give it a minus 5 stars I would. Never will we stay at a motel 8 again. This trip was the start of my wife's and I bucket list vacation. What a start, it can only go up from here because this place is ROCK BOTTOM.

BUGS IN THE ROOM, walked in there were bugs on the bathroom floor and bed turned right around showed the picture and they refuse to refund me

Don't make any reservations unless you know for certain your staying here they will not cancel at all they charge you weather you stay or not. They will not give any refunds. I made a reservation with this hotel and tried to cancel right away because I would of had to go back 50 miles from where I was on a 10 hr trip they would not cancel. Then a employee said I could come stay the next day coming back and sense it had not been 24 hrs. Well I talked to the manger about that and he said no you can pay for a room if you want to come back tonight. I didn't think a I will ever get a super 8 motel again in my life after this charged 83.00 dollars and did not even walk through the door. Running a scam hotel seems like

Checked in and the guy working at the front desk argued with me for 18 minutes bc he wanted to charge us $100 non refundable fee for my service dog (that I showed him her federally certified card) proving my disability and her need.finally after saying I would file a complaint with the ADA bc what he was doing was illegal. He didn't charge that fee. The hallways stunk like a musty smell, the room was very out dated, dirty stunk, a/c took 4 hours to get down to 74 degrees. Burn holes in the comforter, 1 light out of 4 in the room worked, 1 light busted and hanging out of its socket. Then going down the back staircase to take my service dog to potty, the carpet was soaked and stunk very bad, we informed the front desk about it, his reply was "yeah the a/c unit leaks, it stays wet".
It wasn't just damp-i had on nike flip flops and the water came on top of my shoe. Yes it's cheaper-but it's cheaper for a reason. The cheap price was the ONLY positive. I now will pay double to have a nice comfortable peaceful hotel after this experience! There was a few bugs smashed on the wall, cob webs, shower head was filthy, there was an old mattress and box spring threw in the grass right outside the back door. Don't waste your money-you won't be happy. Pictures attached for most i have mentioned!

Location doesn't suck

I really expected more. We could really only reach one outlet in the main room and the lamp was plugged into it. The rest was covered by furniture. The pool was dinky and the water wasn't moving so we didn't use it. And there were a lot of renovations that need to be done with cracked plaster Emerson grout or tile around the jacuzzi

A lot of transient people just hanging around very loud when trying to sleep my room was supposed to be non smoking but I got a contact high from it

I've stayed at this location on several occasions now and all in all it's all you probably need plus some. The lady that was running check out when I last stayed there said that I had left the towels too dirty though and that next time would be 30 dollars out of my deposit. There's a dollar general across the street. I'd just go buy 2 towels before I let that happen. Besides, how could you justify charging me that much for towels that are obviously years old and bleached daily? It's not like I got some big, fluffy towels from some high end towel shop. I got 2 decent sized clean towels that would come clean in the laundry just fine. Past that small occupance I have nothing bad to say about them. Easy to deal with and clean, quiet lodging.

ROOM 216 INFESTED. BEDBUGS! THE MANAGER WOULDNT EVEN COME LOOK. I AM PUKING ACROSS THE STREET WITH ALL MY BELONGINGS IN THE DUMPSTER. I AM BESIDE MYSELF. I don't want it to be true. I liked this hotel. I just review the truth. I contacted health department so hopefully they do their job.

It is what you think it is. It's a decent hotel at a decent price. You are not paying crazy prices so don't expect extravagant amenities. It is clean lodging with t.v. And wi-fi and an old school land line phone which is sorta retro. Bathrooms have hair dryers for the ladies. Both rooms we've stayed in were clean and staff was pleasant enough to deal with. Right off the highway, next door to a Huddle House and a family restaurant across the street from a laundromat, car wash. Dollar General and Save-a-lot. Hard to find a negative. I don't think you could do better for the price.

It is a very affordable and clean hotel, it is a comfy bed and hot shower. The staff is friendly.

Super 8s are pretty standard. They are usually fairly reasonable and usually clean and predictable. That was the case with this one. We stayed here on a trip to dive the Bonne Terre mine. We got in at about 8: 00 at night. They had a modest breakfast (bread, cereal, bagels, yogurt, and that sort of thing) available the next morning. Generally a good value.

Paid via Priceline on the way through. Got to the hotel and they wanted an additional $150 deposit. Got to our room and there was no soap, no shower curtain etc. Kinda junkie. The bigger chair was broken too. Got up the next morning and their waffle dispenser didn’t work either. The fridge had leaked water all over the stuff we had in there. Just not the greatest experience.
