Super 8 by Wyndham Cameron

I travel for work & the whole crew loved it. What really sold it, was the older gentleman at front desk. Very professional & kind, give that man a raise.
It's hotels like this that will always receive my business when I'm near by.

Excellent! Great truck parking. The beds and pillows are the best. Best hotel we have stayed at in a while. Very clean and roomy with lots of amenities.

The Super 8 at Cameron is a wonderful place to stay after traveling a long distance. The staff is wonderful and the newly update rooms are wonderful. Prices are fair and the breakfast is to die for. Great Place!

I really liked this place. The guy was training someone, and he was very good with her. He even informed us on the renovation on the motel. What was new in the rooms, and so on. He was just so nice. For a top, I didn't have much money on me, so I gave them what I had.

Very nice staff. Three queen we reserved wasn’t available- bumped us up to two adjoining rooms with no additional cost. Very appreciative. Breakfast adequate, one room door was crooked and could see into the hall. Will be nice when some renovations are done.

Anytime my wife and I travel to the Midwest we stay here. They recently upgraded the whole interior. We have been staying here for years and never had any problems.

The bed was wonderful. I slept very well. Bathroom was small with leak mark on the ceiling. Shower curtain was soiled at the bottom. Toilet didn't flush good. Breakfast was ok. I would have given it a 3 star but the bed was so comfortable and isn't that why we came for a place to sleep? I would come back.

Easy to find off the highway exit. Clean property. Friendly staff at checkin. Comfortable and quiet room. Hot breakfast and good coffee. Will definitely return.

Needed a room due to some home repairs. Brent was very helpful and found us rooms for the entire project. Beds were very comfortable and the motel was quiet. Have a good breakfast and great coffee. Near I-36 and I-35 for easy on and off if traveling.

The place was clean. It doesn’t have a elevator so if on the 2nd floor prepare to drag up your stuff. A small breakfast is included, nothing special. The toaster took awhile to get hot. (My mom asked the cleaning lady a question & she snapped at her which was unnecessary for we were staying another night & just needed fresh towels) My mom even gave her a tip. Which I told her not too. For did she deserve it?

Definitely recommend this hotel! Brent is amazing and rest of the staff are all super friendly and helpful! Brent and his trainer, helped me last week move things to my second floor room (I have a lot of work equipment.monitor, computer, scanner, etc) as there is no elevator. I checked out for wknd but made reservations last night for this week and He saw my reservation and made sure I had a first floor room. Greatly appreciated! Great location, reasonable price! May need some updates, which I understand are in the works, but rooms are clean and roomy and beds are comfortable!

Super 8 was excellent in all aspects. Very clean, friendly staff, and very reasonable price. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Rooms clean. Place needs updating but it is kept up. Had ok breakfast available. Coffee was drinkable. Parking lot is challenging if you are pulling a trailer and place is full. Staff was nice.

Good room, friendly staff; seems to be in need of some repair as there was a stain on the roof over the shower in our room. Breakfast was good.

We, along with our family pet, had a nice quiet nights rest. Bed was comfortable. They have a nice simple hot breakfast. All staff was very courteous & friendly! Definitely would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Hotel is "ok" in that its a great value, the rooms are mostly clean although my sister found a used washcloth in her shower but it's not really that big of a deal. This hotel is an older property and hasn't been updated much and it shows.

One thing that caused me a small issue is they use the short, round style toilets and as a bigger guy with bad knees I find these to be nearly unusable. Its not something I'm holding against them per se, as its a design choice, just most hotels I stay at use the taller, oval shaped toilets which are much, much easier for me to use.

There's not much sound deadening between the floors either, that or the people above me thought it was perfectly appropriate to practice dancing until 3am and then start right back up at 7am. Yeesh.

Overall though, pet fee was quite reasonable and I was happy to stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby area seemed clean. I did not use the pool or any other amenities.

Pool and hot tub closed, two things I purposely set a filter for. It says this on the website, but it is VERY easily overlooked. Breakfast was a joke, I went elsewhere. $100 for an average bed in a musty smelling room facing a barn…I’ll pass next time.

Great customer service at check in. Was offered a king size bed- for $10 less than the two queens originally booked as well as given the choice of 1st or 2nd floor. Breakfast the next morning was more than the typical cereal, toast, and muffins.
