Super 8 by Wyndham Lake of the Ozarks reviews
17Nick Patel was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. The room smelled like an ashtray, they most Deff do not clean their rooms at all. Nick was a jerk and I will never give them my business again. I’d rather sleep on the street then ever step foot in this disgusting establishment again. And I’m pretty sure they have bed bugs so don’t stay here unless you wana throw away all the clothes you bring with
You get what you pay for. Our room was on the second floor and smelled like an ashtray. The breakfast was gross, some kind of rock-hard biscuits and aweful gravy. No eggs, or protein of any kind. It's a good thing they didnt supply the extra coffee we asked for when we booked since the coffee pot in our room hadn't been cleaned in some time (see the wash cloth). The bed had a decorative sheet and then a plain white sheet under that, no blanket, which was weird, we froze all night while fighting for control of the sheet We should have stayed elsewhere.
We have been staying here for awhile and we love the people that work here. Have free breakfast, and on hand coffee to grab. Love staying here
Room received a bad rating because of the beds which are on very high platforms. If you are shorter than 5’6” with any physical limitations, you may not be able to get into the bed. That’s what happened to us and they have, as best I can tell, no handicapped accommodations and rooms do not have recliners. When I asked, they didn’t offer to move us to a room with useable bed.
If you are a truck driver passing through.maybe.
The ceiling at the entrance had fallen and insulation is showing.
The room smelled weird and not in a good way. The bed had 2 sheets and a cover with no blanket.
The bathroom wall around the toilet had some splatters of something that I am scared to make assumptions about on it. And, the light switches are nasty!
This hotel is dated, and the rooms were dirty. The AC didn't work properly putting high humidity and dampness in the room. This has been an ongoing issue, because it has let the rooms smelly.
Overpriced
They did let us use their breakfast room to visit family. That was nice.but the sink was very slow draining and they refused to give us a sheet for the pull out couch. There is now no pool or hot tub so that's why its overpriced. I was about $140 a note. They breakfast was ok.
Ken and Jambayi (Sorry if I misspelled it) were super nice and welcoming. They definitely deserve a raise.
My job booked me here and reading the reviews made me feel like i won't going to enjoy my stay.but honestly this is by the far the best Super 8 i've stayed in.my room was very clean and the staff was friendly.the breakfast is not the best but overall i did enjoy my stay.
Very expensive for 1 person room was ok but furniture was dusty. Customer service was ok with no discount for AARP, CDL. Breakfast was ok but for $200 a night I wouldn't do that again!
We are on a road trip doing around 4000 miles in two weeks. We have stayed in some real dumps but this place was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Super comfortable beds, nice shower, very clean, and breakfast was AMAZING. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, hot fresh coffee, muffins and more. If we are ever this way again we will be staying here.
What used to be my favorite hotel in Eldon has tanked in cleanliness, friendliness, and breakfast. The free continental breakfast was sadly lacking. I know they cut back during the pandemic, but now it is subpar at best. The popcorn ceiling was coated in dirt from the air conditioner. (See photo). The baseboards were crusted in dust and dirt. The room smelled musty and smoky upon entering. They do have a no smoking policy. The icing on the cake.the room was $180 due to a holiday. It normally runs $75-80. We had planned on staying two nights but left after one.
Beautiful hotel! Especially for a budget friendly hotel! Extremely nice staff and very, very clean.
We brought our dogs lots of grass for their business. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
I love to stayed here only place close to Eldon
And the front desk guy TAJA help me with every way every time
It was okay. Beds are sleepable. There were a few things that weren't so good. Shower head was broken. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. Only 3 small pillows and there wasnt a fitted sheet it was 2 flat sheets. We skipped the breakfast. I do feel it's overpriced for what it is.
Nice room with carpet. Nice tv for gaming I'd say 50 inch, some food across the street
