I was not happy how I was treated after waking up from the Anesthesia by the nurses I had a very bad Uncontrollable itch due to my diabetes trying too Explain to them aftet the waking up from sleep could not control the The itch in my feet some there push me back down on the bed while I was trying too To scratch the itch I’m crying didn’t Remember where I was at the time I was confused and someone said Calm down you’re disturbing others Very sad because I didn’t have family there either so I will not be having Service there ever again

Shoulder surgery twice in less than a year. Dr Lingenfelter is the best of the best. Double surgery no fault of the Dr at all. I took a bad fall and fuckered up everything he had fixed. If you want it done right, get on the appointment schedule. I overly abuse my body so both of mine will need to be done again before retirement

I had the most amazing team. The lady who checked me in my pre op nurse and post op nurse were amazing. However. I needed a nerve block done. One of the blocks was done in the back of knee where a majority of my pain was. I did yell. I screamed because the pain was just too much. For the next hours I listened to nurses, doctors and pts make fun of me. Even speaking of the fact that I had tattoos and still screamed. When my husband came back he heard it as well. I was going through a very difficult time and behavior put a horrible taste in my mouth. My doctor was unsure the surgery would work so my anxiety lead me to not making confrontation before surgery. We listened to nurse in the other room encouraging her pt to make fun of me speaking on my tattoos and other things. I felt violated. My husband was so upset he had to walk out after I asked him to not say anything. After my never block a nurse came in and made fun of me saying 3 pt walked out because of my yelling and scolded me. When you feel vulnerable that is the last thing you want to hear. I was a tech at a level one trauma and get the jokes and gossip but this made me feel horrible. I have a dark sense of humor but felt totally unwelcome. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at an HCA facility. The worst part is the charge nurse was in with the pt making fun of me so I didn't feel like I could even saying anything. I spent the hour before surgery crying. I need a few more surgeries and will be using a different facility affiliated with my doctor. I know I should have spoke with someone then but honestly I was so stressed out I couldn't. My husband even closed the curtain so I would stop giving the other pr dirty looks. As an medical professional previously I get it but be aware of your surroundings and understand we can hear you through curtains.

I had the most warm, friendly, professional, and caring service, at every level.
I wish I could remember all the names, so I could give praise where praise is due!
My anterior hip replacement was done in June 2021, by Dr. Bruce. He was excellent, pre and post op.
Dr. Bruce’s nurse, Amy, was absolutely wonderful, and responded to every email/call within minutes!

I cannot say enough positive remarks about the surgicenter staff!
Especially in a pandemic.
The center was very clean, well staffed, and very accommodating.
The pre-op nurse, Lisa, was most helpful.
Lisa gave me every ounce of knowledge that I needed to prepare for this major surgery.
She provided me with a booklet, explaining all I would endure. She explained my exact procedure, all the medications I’d be given, what the med’s did, what I should expect, what I should borrow or buy, to have at home, and she calmed my nerves with an in-person surgicenter tour, a week before surgery.

The billing person called me 4 weeks prior to surgery, to explain my medical coverage, and out of pocket cost. I overpaid a bit, and I received my money back in a very reasonable time
.
Surgery went excellent.

Post-surgery, I had very low BP, so I couldn’t have painkillers. The Nurses handled my outcry of pain (!) very professionally, empathetically, and took every measure to ensure my comfort.
I swear, they are angels from above!
Kay S.was the nurse who took amazing care of me for the last 12 hours I was there. Thank you, Kay!

Thank you all - Dr. Bruce, Amy, anesthesiologist, Nurses, MA’s, night staff, assistants, etc! ️

I highly recommend this Surgicenter of KC!

Brought my mom there for hand surgery today. The building was new and clean. Good close parking. The staff was okay could’ve been more friendlier! I literally had to ask to talk to someone because I had several questions and no one had even introduced their self once I was in the back room with her. Also the African American lady who checked us in could use some more people person skills. But alright experience. She was in and out quick as ever especially for a surgery! Was given discharge instructions.

My wife is about to retire from this facility after 16 years of nursing service. She would not have stayed for so long if there were not caring cohorts, pleasant surroundings, and a friendly working schedule. The doctors are also part-owners in the practice, so they work hard to insure patient satisfaction. Highly recommended to both patients and potential employees.

Admission was smooth and easy, every staff member seemed to genuinely care and provided me with any answers I needed. Pre and Post op were had great bedside manner and made sure I was comfortable as I could be. I work in an OR so I am familiar with some processes and I was very happy with this facility and all of their staff.

I had both of my Carpal Tunnel release surgeries here with Dr. Hiatt. The first visit here was amazing. Super easy and on schedule. I hate needles and the nurse that put my IV in was great. Second visit wasn't as good. They poked me a few times to get the IV in which was uncomfortable. The second surgery was also behind schedule but that wasn't under anyone's control. Just wish they could've updated me while I waited. Overall it's a great facility, super clean, great staff and Dr. Hiatt has been very clear on the surgery and recovery process.

Had surgery on 12-28-20 all was good until recovery. From that point it went so bad so fast. All they wanted was to get me out ASAP. Got me dressed and in my ride and n under 30 min and I was still half asleep at that point.
Update: called Janie, was sorry about it. Needed more info to look in to it. Nothing was done after waiting for a month. Did not offer any solution or discount. 0 stars. Not recommend.

I had a fantastic experience from walking in until they were rolling me out. Everything was explained thoroughly to my satisfaction. They insured to make me very comfortable and prepared for home! I would recommend this team and facility!

My overall experience was a disappointment. I had a root meniscus tear surgery on a Friday. Unfortunately the nerve block did not take and woke to an extreme amount of pain, which was completely unexpected.
They staff scrambled to get me some quick relief, which I appreciated, but then felt a bit rushed for dismissal. Still trying to get a grasp of everything when told to get dressed.
Verbal instructions for my polar ice seemed vague and my crutches required for non weight bearing for the next 6 weeks were just thrown in the backseat of the car.unopened, not adjusted to the correct height and no practice or tips. This indeed made getting in my home a bit of a challenge!
It may be a standard day of surgery for those that are staffed there but it was not for me and would of appreciated a bit more forethought.
Of course I felt everyone I encountered to be kind but there seemed to be a disconnect of complete care.
I understand my surgeon is affiliated with that surgery center but don’t think I’d choose it again if had to.
