Swan Lake Estates, Bates City MO

We have lived here for a little over a month and absolutely love it here. This place is well kept up and very quiet and peaceful. We absolutely love our home and it is a beautiful place to call home. Process was very fast and easy with Eleanor and the management team is excellent and always lovely and polite.

We have lived here for a few months now and absolutely love it! It’s quiet, the park is clean, and management is just all around wonderful. Randal and Elanor are super nice and have helped with anything and everything we have needed. All around a great place to raise our boys for sure!

We were having a lot of trouble getting into a place and Eleanor and her team help us, in our dire situation, get into a beautiful home, and fast! Great people!

Swan Lake Estates are really doing everything they can to rebuild a safe and quiet community with zero tolerance for neglect and crime. The management team are very friendly and welcoming. We are loving our new home here and look forward to our future with this new community

I am new to Swan Lake Estates and I am really happy here. Management has been very kind and helpful. The whole process of of completing the application online was quick and easy. And all of my questions were answered promptly. This park is very clean and quiet. I feel safe living here and I am looking forward to Spring when everything is "leafing and blooming".

While I am not a resident at Swan Lake Estates, I do have a family member that has lived there for a very long time and I do visit for extended periods of time. The current management company, OMT Parks has done a wonderful job of making this a safe and respectable park! They are in the middle of making major repairs and updates to the road infrastructure at the park and making sure that folks are keeping up with their maintenance (all while offering assistance to those struggling to handle big jobs and small on their own). The park manager, Randall, has gone out of his way to help my brother out.no matter how much prodding it took. I am really looking forward to the pond restoration project that is kicking off this spring/summer and to meeting new families that are making this their home!

My husband and I moved in Swan Lake around August of 1994. Our daughter purchased a home here shortly after that. It was absolutely beautiful! Over the course of the years because of poor management or rapid turnover of owners and management it sadly went downhill.

After the original owners sold it seemed everyone else used it as a tax write off or other “questionable “ business practices.

Up until about 3 or 4 years ago it was very dangerous to live here. Unfortunately, our income didn’t warrant moving. Now, I still live here, my daughter lives here and two of my grandchildren and their families live here. Yes, it still looks a little run down with a lot of empty spaces and some homes still need torn down, BUT…
IT IS A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE! The roads are great in most areas and the cleanup is taking shape.

The damage done in this park took years, the repairs are costly and will take time, but I see them happening. My dream is a renovated clubhouse and the splash park!

We are becoming a community again and I can’t wait for Spring when we can all get out and meet each other.

Thank you Eleanor for what has improved and thank you for future plans. Randall, thank you for keeping us on our toes and I hope you are feeling better.

for families and single tenants and its getting better as time go on I think it make a grate home for who looking for a good home

Very quiet and everyone kind of stays to themselves. Randle, the park manager, has been incredibly helpful with first home experiences and has always been understanding and worked with us. All around, it’s a very nice place to live.

I have been here a little over a year and taken over as manager.
Eleanor insists that we keep everything clean and picked up.
We do home maintenance repair list all the time.
This is a work in progress, but it is looking fantastic compared to what it looked like when I lived here in 2016.
We have a lot more upgrades coming.

If you’re looking for a quiet, safe place where you won’t be bothered, this is the place to go. Great area to raise kids in. Didn’t lock my car for over a year and never had anything stolen. Some trailers are a lil old yes, however, the upkeep on park itself was satisfactory. The newest management and owner are spot on meeting needs and listening to concerns. Don’t let the bad reviews fool you. If you pay your dues, mind your business and be courteous to your neighbors, you will never have any issues.

Roads need work as well as a few other things.beware all ye who enter. Several people were evicted during peak covid 2020 pandemic. They've since added a few new trailers but my car now bottoms out going over the potholes. Poor management has also led to many people moving away. If you like having a leash on your neck than this is a perfect place to live if you like dodging potholes and praising the management.
