I tested positive for covid and have been a week trying to arrange a virtual appointment with my doctor. I logged into the scheduled time and waited over an hour and was no showed. They have no regard for their patients nor their health.

It's amateur hour every day at this place. Called to set an appointment to have a tooth pulled (about 6 weeks out), when I asked the scheduler if the tooth would be pulled that day she said "it would all be taken care of". Go in the day of my appointment and all I get are bitwings and a look over; not to mention, the scheduler forgets to return my driver's license and I have to drive back from another appointment on the other side of the city to get it. I manage to get the pulling scheduled two days later. I think I'm in good hands: the dentist looks seasoned and is clearly not a student. Well, 4 days following the extraction, despite following the post op instructions to a science, my jaw has swollen to the size of a softball. I return on a Monday (their office hours are supposed to be Monday-Thursday) and I'm told they're closed and I need to return the following day. I call the 24 line and speak with the operator, who proceeds to transfer me to the clinic I was just at. Despite the fact that I said to her I was just there and that the dental side was closed, she asserted they were not. Avoid this useless and frustrating experience if you can.

If they could possibly find a doctor that LISTENS to where you're not jumping hoops for medication THEY prescribed, that would be great. They also stroll in 30-45 minutes after your scheduled appt time and rush you through the visit. The nurses that check you in are a lot more attentive!

Front desk staff for the dental side is awesome, but the lady for the medical side is actively rude. Witnessed her make a homeless man, who told her repeatedly that he needed to get to work, wait for over 30 minutes to speak to her when there was no one in line. They do NOT answer their phone or return phone calls, period. Existing members have the 'option' of scheduling appointments on the patient portal, which will result in a number from Texas calling you back, only to tell you you have to talk to the clinic to schedule. VERY FRUSTRATING.

They will hold your prescriptions hostage and not allow refills until you come in and see them, however it takes leaving 2 to 3 voicemails over a week or so before they will show the courtesy to call back and let you schedule.they are horrible!

I have been calling for an appointment since February. I keep getting sent to a nurse voicemail. No matter how many times I leave a message. I have never gotten a call back. I have been going here for years.
I dont understand how you can not return a call for an appointment since February.
I just called the emergency nurse contact to find out what is going on.
She said, that she will fax, my information.
We will see.
I have kept proof, of most of the calls and recordings of messages left. I dont play.

This place is actively ghosting my mother who needs her thyroid medication. And they refuse to fill her prescriptions. Completely unprofessional. They never answer their phones.

As stated on their website, I arrived early for a walk in emergency dental appointment. (On a Monday) The facility is very clean with a large waiting room. Two sides for check in dental and medical which makes things faster. Johnny at the front desk was so nice and helpful, and I was seen within an hour. The dentist was extremely thorough, made me feel very comfortable, didn't rush things he took his time and I left here feeling this was one of the best experiences I've had with a healthcare place in a long time. I got in and out under 2 hours. Definitely recommend!

Kind and friendly staff. Clean environment. Doctors on staff are thorough and listen well. Staff is easy to talk to. Health portal makes it convenient to see your results of regular labs without bothering anyone.

The staff in this office do not rush. As someone with many health conditions I greatly appreciate this, it allows them to pay attention to details. My doctor was able to get a diagnosis for an autoimmune condition by taking her time with me and referring me to a rheumatologist. So there is a chance that your appointment may not start on time but recognize that you will get a thorough appointment when you are seen.

This leads to the only complaint I have.
They are usually busy and you may struggle to get an appointment with your specific Dr if you need an immediate appointment. You might need a walk in appointment, or go to the other Swope location. But it is worth it.

I've been a patient at the Riverside office for about 5-6 years now. I have never had any problem with any staff member. They are always friendly yet professional. I have received top-notch medical and dental care. Dr. Jackson and Dr. Medlin are the best! They both take their time to listen to your concerns and explain things. I've never felt rushed by either one of them. I simply can't say enough good things about them. When checking in or out, scheduling an appointment or whatever, I can always count on Johnny (sp?) at the front desk to handle everything like the pro she is. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my primary care and dental needs (and where else can you get both through the same office?).

Not everyone is nice but I am so happy with going here (yes, I'm white) Dr Jackson is amazing she took the time with me and her practitioner Sheryl (I think) act like I'm their only patient at the time. I made sure my insurance put them as my primary physicians. Although I hate going to Dr. I don't mind seeing them. I have diabetes among other things and I trust them with my critical care. I do feel most of nurses feel burnt out of their jobs but they aren't my Dr.

I have read the reviews on this sight and I had to say first of all these people are here to help u, as much as they can they are a income base doctors office. I’m not sure what most of you are hoping for. They are not rude their very busy I have been going their for 3 years. I am white and never felt that they were being racist to me for my family that go here. They do the best they can.
