Table Rock Resorts at Kimberling, Kimberling City MO

Everything you could possibly want, except no WiFi, and no pets. We’re local, and we would’ve stayed longer, if we would have had access to WiFi.

Just spent a week with the family at this resort. Not so sure I would classify it as a resort. The pool was warm for the first day and then was colder the rest of the visit, the sauna trips the breaker if turned up so was unusable for a majority of the stay, went to take out the trash and the dumpster was locked (found a different one), the miniature golf seriously needs some cleanup. I get that it is kinda still the off season but it is spring break. The staff was very nice so I will give it that. Based on history it sounds like they may have had a hard time recovering from a tornado and of course covid. Overall it was a nice stay and if the grounds were better kept and if more resort style amenities were offered I’d move it up a star.

UPDATE: Thanks Nicole for moving us to a different unit. All is well now as of 4/18/22. Time to get our vacation on.

Okay, so arrived on April 16th, 2022. Room was pretty nice and then, POW! I saw it! It was a roach crawling on the kitchen counter top. Thank goodness I had my ant and roach spray. It was my first time even carrying it to a resort. Then the next day we hear this scurrying scratching noise like something falling down the walls in our room. We think it's a squirrel that my husband saw earlier on our patio. Yep, it's trapped in the roof somewhere above our unit on the bedroom side. It's Easter Sunday so no one in the office at this time.

What an amazing place and gorgeous lakeside view right from my living room and bedroom!
The staff is super friendly and especially Penny she walked me through the amenities of the resort to make sure I wouldn’t miss anything, super sweet and helpful, Thank you Penny!
I’m getting ready to check out “Pops” BBQ next I hear its delish!
This place rocks for sure and hope I make it out this way again sometime!

Dated yes and with an odd layout compared to other resorts. On the other hand, the rooms were super clean, spacious with AMAZING staff especially Dawn!

Extremely disappointed. Room looks nothing like pictures. Paid for a cabin on the lake to be stuck in a motel with views of nothing but parking lots and more room numbers. Room is mostly clean, but very small & outdated. Should have just stayed in a nice hotel conveniently located in Branson for cheaper. Probably wouldn’t be as upset if it wasn’t so dang expensive, just to have absolutely nothing to offer upon getting here.

NASTY RUN AWAY NOW! The pool water was warm AND SMELT! The table was broken, you could literally take the top off, our ac DID NOT work took 14 hours to go 10 degrees, it was a motel just a dump. UNDER THE COUCH CUSHION WAS A CHEERIO, the couch bed was nothing but pure springs no cushion at all.had to sleep on couch because we could not sleep on the couch bed.not even a 1, this place is very sad

Nice location away from busy Branson 35 minutes away so still close enough. Toilets were for toddlers or something but enjoyed our stay. Locals were very friendly

Room old! Stay away from this resort! Shows pic of nice resort but get switched to old resort.run away! Bed uncomfortable.stove connected to a sink! Weeds growing in patio.no ac in bedroom.carpets old and dirty.bathroom small and old.very disappointed!

Booked a 2 bedroom condo for here with RCI. It was a horrible experience. We had booked for a week and only stayed 2 nights. Mold on bathroom fixtures and had mold smell. Severely allergic to mold and had to take benedryl. Cupboard was dirty and the blinds on door look they had never been cleaned. Something pink and sticky under bed. Cob webs on ceiling and in all corners. It was just nasty. Pool table in game room warped along with ping pong table. Mini golf is OLD and unkept. Outside pool looked like alge in the bottom and not kept up. Incline down to the lake is impossible for a handicap to get up or down to. This place is not worth your time or money. When checking out I brought up issues and was told oh well, sorry about that. I will NEVER stay at this so called resort again!

Would have left 3 stars had the price been a bit lower to match what they offer. Positives: the noise level was great! We had people in the room next to us and the room above but one over and never heard other people at all. The A/C wasn't too terrible. It took a few hours to drop to my preferred 68° but it was also high 90°s the days we stayed. The kitchen was very small but stocked well enough for us to cook a few meals without having to constantly do dishes. The main bedroom bed was pretty comfy and didn't have the bedspring feel or crinkly sheet sounds of other hotels I've stayed at. The layout is very confusing, but they gave a map with a helpful highlighted path to our room so we found it OK. Negatives: DO NOT advertise wifi on the website then only offer it in the office area that is barely open. We were a little disappointed that only the living room had a TV and the bedroom didn't even have cable outlet to give you the choice to move it to the bedroom. The pull out couch bed was terribly uncomfortable, but honestly what can you expect from a pull out bed? One of the most unexpected things was how dirty the carpet was.maybe there's a logical explanation as to why it's so hard to keep them clean, but we showered the first night we got there right before bed and when I went to put socks on in the morning I noticed the bottoms of my feet were BLACK! The only bugs we noticed were a few drain flies which just look like big fruit flies but I figured that's cause we were so near water. We arrived Tuesday night and of course didn't need towels by Wednesday, but apparently you can't miss towel day or you don't get another chance till next Wednesday so we had to reuse towels a few more times than we really wanted. All in all not a terrible little place, but until things get updated the price needs to be a little lower to reflect the actual accommodations and not what they hope to achieve in the future. I'm sure I'll get the same "these negatives aren't up to our usual standards" reply that EVERY other reviewer here got so I wouldn't hold my breath on these issues that almost everyone is having being corrected.

Well I wasn’t going to leave a review but they emailed me asking for one so here we go. There are apparently 2 different kinds of rooms, ones updated and beautiful (lakeside) and the ones we got that were completely outdated (poolside). Be sure you know what you’re signing up for. The poolside ones are literally from the 70’s, no signs of updates or new furniture, wasps and weeds everywhere outside, the carpet turned my little girls knees and hands black from crawling around, no WiFi, and it was not as all as was pictured through our RCI timeshare website. We did appreciate the distance from Branson and the lake. Beyond that, we are very disappointed with the facilities.

Units were not next door like was told had to walk two sets steps between them - I book units in ground floor as we have two medical needs kids but that wasn’t the case.  We had lots steps.

Carpets are filthy. All our feet were black within 15 min. Very nasty

Our unit. 315 has head lice. Kids woke up Thursday with head lice from hide a bed and smaller bedroom so we had to buy treatment and then left

Game room?  No game room there just pool table so kids were pretty sad

No shade or umbrellas in pool area I have lupus and can’t be in sun.

Not many cooking utensils no pan cake turner And what pans thetr were all dirty

Just over all very disappointed in our stay and not worth the money we saved to take a vacation

Not to mention we didn’t leave the property and came home with covid. Asked for refund and have been ignored. Do NOT stay here

This "resort" was disgusting. It was an old motel converted into a two bedroom unit. Layout was strange. Rooms were small but we could've gotten past that had it been clean or well maintained. It was not. It was filthy and we were afraid to even sit down. We had two rooms and neither looked ANYTHING like the pictures on the website. As a previous reviewer said, RUN from this property.

The best part abt this place was Pops BBQ. It’s attached to the office area. They had amazing drinks and they were priced to sell! I made many trips up there and the associates were so sweet!
The 2nd best thing about this place was the view of the lake.
My complaints about this place would be that the outside of the complex is poorly managed. The steps to the room were literally crumbling. Once you got past the eroded rust you were met with molded siding. We had an updated room so walking into that was refreshing. The carpet was sticky, you shld definitely wear shoes, not socks cause they will be black after an hour. There was a balcony over looking the lake; however it was infested so badly with spiders and webs that we couldn’t go out there till we called maintenance to come clean it up and spray! As far as the kitchen goes, it had most everything you’d need but wash your dishes before you use them! I pulled out many dirty dishes! I’d suggest just going across the street to the market (which was very nice) and pick up some paper plates and solo cups and a big bag of ice.
As far as amenities go. The “mini golf” was an absolute joke. Don’t even count on that.
The outdoor pool was clean, not a lot of loungers. There is a pad around the pool and when it’s warm it smells like hot urine. It wasn’t pleasant at all. The indoor pool was freezing cold so we didn’t even bother with that but it looked clean. There is a playground but the swings are metal, they are rusted and very hot during the day. They swings look like they are from a 90’s horror film. If you plan to be in Branson a lot I would not suggest this place, it’s about 30-40 mins so you’ll spend a lot of time driving back n worth. Don’t get hurt or need medical care cause the closest urgent care is over 10 miles and the closest hospital is over 33 miles!

Good place right on the lake. Rooms were fairly clean. Very dated. Pricey for the condition of the rooms. Great location by the Kimberling City bridge. Right across from grocery store. Many restaraunts close by. We may stay again when in the area.
