Wonderful fresh burgers with lots of interesting toping combinations. Friendly and courteous staff. They participate in the pay it forward program which is something I respect and appreciate. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey for the serving size. All in all fun place to eat. I recommend the peanut butter burger or the Taboo blu. Scrumptious

Good food but a bit pricey. I got charged for a drink only had water. Cheeseburger and water $9.70

Taboo is by far the BEST burger place around! Love the clean and friendly atmosphere along with the Owners are wonderful people, if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and want something with the same consistency every time, I recommend this place. 5 stars just isn’t enough!

In my top 5 places to eat at The Lake of the Ozarks. #1 place for burgers and The Chick Chicken (I think that's still the name). Dave has some of the most creative, flavorful Burgers at the lake. My favorite part about Taboo, Dave brings out free food, lol. He's like "here try this" but better than that, Dave always interacts with his guests. It makes you feel comfortable and in a positive environment. Add excellent food and drinks some live entertainment and you have a great business on the West side of the Lake of the Ozarks. The prices can't be beat for the amount of food that is served. How big of a burger can you eat? I bet Dave will make it. Besides Sonic there isn't much open at night in Laurie to get a quick bite to eat, thankfully we have Taboo. Since they have opened I have had every burger on the menu at least once. Some several times over. O and don't forget about the fried oysters.they definitely on the my list of the must try places to eat at Lake of the Ozarks

The food is delicious. I got the Quad Fair Dinkum and a chocolate malts and both were fantastic

Great food, quick enough for a work lunch, and the friendliest staff you can find, would highly recommend any of their menu items.

Food was yummy, but they need more staff or at least they did tonight. Food was brought out out of order and were missing a meal at first. And ordering dessert was near impossible with all the people coming in for take out orders. With my group we had: pickle fries, toasted ravioli, Island burger, Hakuna Matata, Nightmare burger, Single Chief, and Malibu Chicken sandwich. All were excellent once it got to the table. The pickle fries are just fried pickles but cut like basic shoestring fries. The ice cream is Central Dairy which is always good. Overall a great meal. Not from the area so unable to speak to what normally happens here though.

Best little burger place in Laurie! Has been a true delight to have this place so close to home!

This is the best burger place. Crazy selection of well prepared burgers and other sanwiches. We visit frequently and it never disappoints.

Kids and all our friends love this place, finally a great little joint in Laurie besides your big chain burgers and pizza

This place is just AMAZING! The BLT is soooo good, my parents said they enjoyed their food a whole lot too. The ice cream is amazing too. The shakes are definitely a recommendation

I've been to this place enough times to say that it's probably one of the best place to get burgers on the lake their food is always full of flavor and their shakes are just as good whenever someone asks for a good place to go and get a good burger taboo is always the first place that comes to mind
