Thai Express reviews
16This is my go-to Thai restaurant. The customer service is amazing and everyone is so kind!
My favorite food in all of Columbia. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing.
Never heard of the place until a college friend recommended it. Once inside, the it was a lively atmosphere with a bar or table seating option. The wait on the few was very reasonable (about 10 minutes) with portion sizes fair to the price.
Pictured is the spicy seafood stir fry with a heat level of 5, rice, and a side of spring rolls. Would recommend a level 2 or 3 for enjoyment purposes. No other words to comment except that this would definitely a restaurant to place of on the bucket list in Columbia, MO.
Absolutely amazing! Had it for the first time 3 minutes ago. I’m still reeling from this master piece! *chef kiss*
service. S-tier. Food? You aren’t prepared for this culinary experience. Thai express, you’ve made Columbia better to live in!
Person at the counter was super rude and very cranky. Didn't give us enough time to look through the menu and rushed us. Didn't hear what she said the first time and she appeared visibly annoyed that I didn't hear her. Is this how they treat customers? Pathetic experience
Nice option for food, amazinh soups, 5 level of hot, 3 is very hot for me itself chose wisely
Excellent! I order GrubHub from here at least once a week. Tasty and well made food. The vegetables are always super fresh and the sauces dynamic. If I'm going healthy, I'm ordering Pad Woon Sen or Red Curry with vegetables, and if I want some beef it's the Beef Bulgogi bowl.
There was not a piece of basil in their basil fried rice, and they charged more than $13 for it. Very disappointing!
Always great food here! I highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Thai butterfly (similar to crab rangoon).
We had an awesome experience tasting Thai cuisine here. We ordered the Chicken Panang Curry and Tom Yum soup. Both had unique taste. They came in cute little plastic sealed food boxes for easy carryout. The Tom yum soup had the lemon leaves in it which added to the zing of the soup in every spoon! It was brilliant as a starter. Just be careful about the spice level, they have 1 to 5, five being the highest. The Panang curry was easily the best Thai food I ever had. It had coconut milk/cream and so it helped to alleviate the spice from the Tom yum soup. Definitely recommended, I would go over there to taste their food again!
The cashier was friendly and attentive when I walked in. The pad thai itself tasted average. Nothing really stood out as it felt generic. On the bright side, it was not too oily. They also use jumbo shrimp rather than the miniature ones most restaurants use. The location is nice as it sits between MU’s campus and downtown. Parking is a bit of a mess as you are better off using the Hitt Street Garage.
I could eat here every single day! Constant order: pad thai, tom kha soup, spring rolls and pineapple fried rice. Could not get enough of this place
Had a bad experience there. Found a short and curvy hair inside my noodle. The staff and the owner say its not their hair so i think that hair is drop from the sky!
The manager is rude to her employees and even customers. What happened to the old family that used to run this place?
Great experience! The food was delicious and authentic, and service was awesome! Definitely my go-to for Thai food in Columbia!
Asked for 0 spice on my curry because it's Thai food and I'm a wimp. It was painfully! Spicy Very difficult to eat actually.
