Took my Grandkids to the Bay water park and had the time of our life.
Some amenities were out so we didn’t get the chance to experience the full effect however we made the best of it

It's cheap, it's wet, and the slides were fun while working. They occasionally would stop working. Everyone was nice to us. Lazy river was not available due to lack of lifeguards. There was a fight between the manager and someone who's credit card was declined that was nearly a throw-down.

The Bay is hot mayonnaise. Went on opening day. Half the stuff wasn't open. No trash cans in the bathroom, no running water to the showers, teen girls were leaving their used hygiene products in the dry showers.just.laying there, on the concrete. But where else were they supposed to put them? No one was checking in there to clean anyway, it was completely unsanitary. I decided to try to go back later in the season, hoping it was just an opening day issue, and knowing to stay away from the bathroom unless necessary.posted hours everywhere are open till 8 pm, but printed sign taped to the gate says 4 pm. No one bothered to update even the parks website. A damn disgrace. I'm just over it.

My family will not be back. I've worked at a waterpark for 6 years, 4 as a certified lifeguard.
Staff here was very unprofessional. You have children's lives at stake. I witnessed one lifeguard dancing to every song and socializing while at their post. Another was playing basketball in the water. And the staff at the top of the slides all went down the slides, while kids were still at the top! Twice! These were staff at their post, not on break. Not sure who certifies this park but they need to do an audit.
A more trivial complaint is that the website says no outside food or beverages which we abided by but then their concessions was out of MANY items and down to PB&Js, candy, and chips. Not exactly the lunch I was looking for.
The pool with the lap lanes was quite cloudy and dirty in comparison to the other pools. The pool cleaning/filtering equipment or chemicals needs to be looked at.

The best thing I saw was that they had plenty of life jackets on hand for anyone who needed one.

A sudden pop and a boom over the loud speaker "attention Bay swimmers, the time is now 3: 36 we will be closing at 3: 40. Please exit the pools and park".

If you came within 30 minutes of closing, you got a free token to come back! Was cool the time we did get to spend there.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It was disgusting and dirty. Only one slide was open and nobody told us that when we paid. The bathrooms were gross with little to no toilet paper. The lazy river was closed along with the other 2 water slides and nobody knew if they would be open at all that day. There were several employees doing nothing and those that were lifeguards didn't appear to be watching the guests. It was very disappointing and we will not return.

Really cool place to take the kids for an affordable price! The lazy river wasn't open (we went Friday afternoon) and I'm not sure why. That's my favorite part of a water park lol. Hopefully it will be open next time cause we're definitely going again!

Very nice staff and good layout of the park. Great play areas for the kids. Could use a few more seats because they fill up quickly

Slides and lazy river area not open. I asked before I went & was told it would be. On top of that it closes at 4 & paid 16$ for like 3 hours. Then someone said it’s supposed to be half price or something if they aren’t staying ope. I’m just disappointed…. Also so many staff just not doing anything at all it’s really irritating.

About 9 years ago me and my family went when they first opened.the toilet bowl slide was traumatizing, my older brother still has scars on his back from the nails not being fully in, and he still has trauma from being pantsed by the surf simulator.he still refuses to go to another swimming pool.it was horrible and scary.
