The Bend @ the Duck, Lake Ozark MO

We came midweek this winter for something nice and cozy, and boy did it deliver. There were sweeping views of the lake, a warm atmosphere like home and a neat custom bourbon bar tucked into the back. It was happy hour, so we ordered some delicious apps like Piggie Wings and a pretzel. I had a smoked old fashioned that was excellent. We decided to stay for dinner- pork chop, chicken a la mer, and pasta. The service was attentive and we can't wait to come back. Thanks!

Food is hands down best you can get at the lake. Todd and Becky and their staff are some of the best down here. If you’re looking for the best ribeye at the lake come here!

Best service and food at the lake! A nice secret hideaway to enjoy the view of the lake while eating great food and drinking some exquisite cocktails. Would Def recommend to a friend! And some of the friendliest employees around!

Great food, great service, great view. The trees are beautiful this time of year. Best desserts. The sea bass is phenomenal. Tomahawk ribeye perfectly seared. Must try to carrot cake or the chocolate cake. It is all so good

Fantastic bourbon bar and restaurant tucked away on the north end of Lake Ozark. Incredible selection, great atmosphere and super view of Lake Ozark. One of the best burgers I’ve had, ever.

Bland. What a ripoff. Shrimp cocktail was good but for the price they are the size of what you get in a grocery store bag. Oyster Rockefeller I am waiting to be sick from them. For God sake don’t mess with a classic! They were lukewarm the spinach tasted like seaweed with old bland BACON! Whatever the cream was on top was horrendous. Adding to insult was the price! $45 for the worst tasting oysters I’ve ever had. Prime rib was cooked perfectly but had no flavor at all. Even the aus jus was bland. What a waste of a beautiful location. My advice is to retire the chef because at the prices charged you should be able to do a lot better.

We were there way to long after order for food was placed. 2 in our party ordered fillets and they were not cooked properly. 1 ordered Mahi Mahi and it was way over salted and string beans were way over seasoned. I ordered the burger and it was ok at best. Our meal and drinks were over $300.00. Most expensive food ever ordered and everyone left extremely disappointed.

Food is way overpriced for the quality and quantity. Don’t order the scallops. You only get 3 little scallops. What a joke.

First time to come here since they where on HH. Enjoyed HH location more. Food is good but over priced. We had also visited when Donna greeted us at the door when it was the Duck. We were expecting more of the fine dining experience. Surprised to see a TV in the dining area. No tablecloths! Food was good, but just not the dining experience we had hoped for.

Good food! Somewhat Overpriced. We enjoyed the location on HH better. The Duck was fine dining. The Bend at the Duck isn't the same dining experience as the original Duck.

Steak dry and overcooked. Food is way over priced for the quality and quantity of what you get. The waitress acted like she didn't want to be there.

Sadly, all three steaks we ordered were semi-cold and terribly overcooked (two so well-done that we sent them back - something we never do!).
Then, one party in our group had two pieces of aluminum foil stuck to his cheesecake at dessert.
For dinner this pricey, we expected far more.

The building has a musty smell when you enter (which may be the result of being empty for years). No ambiance in the dining space. It felt more like a casual diner than an upscale restaurant.
The Bourbon Bar was substantially better. Cozy with a great drink list. We may return for cocktails sometime.

Kylie was amazing! So attentive and friendly it made my friends birthday! I will definitely come back to see Kylie and of course the food

Last night was our second visit. This restaurant consistently wows us with their craft drinks and wonderfully prepared food. The menu is a change from the other restaurants at the lake without being too far out there. Last night, I had the Osso Bucco and it was really amazing. I was very impressed. On top of all that, the panoramic view is one of the best at the lake.

Don't wait. This is an amazing addition to our already stellar list of great restaurants at the lake!

Delicious! Bartenders are magicians and I will go back just to watch them work their magic. The scallops are amazing and the Calamari was truly the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Very impressed with the service and food! The Steak and Lobster where so delicious! And I would give the calamari an A+. Came down for the weekend to spend time with friends and we enjoyed it so much we went Saturday and Sunday evening.

Came here for a friend’s birthday for an upscale, nice dinner at the lake. Food was decent for the price tag, some of our food came out cold. Would usually not write a review, as this is my first ever, however, our server was quite rude. We sat for 10-15 minutes on a slow Wednesday night before we were met with a server who seemed confused. She was extremely unprofessional in the way she greeted us, as she had a vape in her hand and barely spoke to us. When ordering food, she was rude to someone in our party about a question they had, and we had to ask for refills after sitting with empty cups half the time we spent there. When our food came out we didn’t see her again until it was time for the bill. When we asked to see if the restaurant does anything for birthdays, as the table next to us just had servers singing the birthday song to them, we were met with a stern no. Overall just very rude and unprofessional to the point where it felt like a joke. Would return upon improvement in staff. Maybe better luck without our server, Kylie K.

Had the best night for friend's birthday. Steak was great and my server Kylie K was awesome making sure we were taken care of but still giving us space whilr we dined.
