The Big Biscuit reviews
18Great open space and the food was great for a reasonable price! Yeah there's a small menu, but it makes making decisions a bit easier. If you want their Sticky Biscuit though, you have to get in early.
This place has really good food and excellent service. Just an FYI, they have really big biscuits! And pancakes. Shelby was awesome
My wife and I had a good experience at Big Biscuit. There was a wait for a table when arrived, but we were able to get a couple seats at the bar. The service very prompt. The food came out and it was very good. We've visited a few KC locations and all of them have been great.
First time visited it was a huge miss BUT they did right. We have since been 5 times and everytime its been good.
Atmosphere is inviting, staff has always been friendly and attentive.
Prices can get high though it's not terrible.
Nice cafe with good food with service to match. Depending on how busy it is it can be a good place to grab a quick bite.
This place was really quite good. St Joe had come up in the world. More new places to try than ever. Young pleasant staff. Food was really quite good. Very much an old diner feel. I miss places like this in Seattle.
Young workers, but the food is fine the service is what you would expect from the age group. They could keep the place a bit cleaner, but I get it.
Pretty pricey and the minu didn't list the price for some reason. I spent thirty five dollars for two with tip.
I will not be going back
I wasn't totally happy with the quality of my meal which was the pork tender. Everyone N e else was very happy w pancakes, bacon, hamburgers, etc. Service was fantastic. Food was served hot&fresh.
Ate breakfast here on Monday morning. Our food was great. Our server LaLa was fantastic! Will definitely eat here again.
Tried to go enjoy big biscuit this morning in Saint Joseph, but after waiting over 20 minutes for the server to come by our table we decided to leave. Multiple servers walked by and cleaned tables around us, not sure where the mix up was but I will not be back in to the Saint Joseph location for a while. I'll also note that the restaurant wasn't even busy compared to the rushes I've seen them have, there is really no excuse for the lack of service provided today.
Very good food, clean, and quiet. They have awesome older style decor and it is just an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend.
From out of town Googled places that were close by. KC chiefs training camp. Wanted to try something new and different. The biscuits are to die for! I got like a eggs benedict but it had one of their hand breaded pieces of chicken on it and sausage gravy over the whole biscuit and it was awesome. My grandson tried their honey honey bunny honey bunny something sandwich and it was really good also with the chicken. My daughter had BLT in the salad food was good service was great.
Great staff and very good food. I had the scrambled eggs over baskets and gravy with hah brown potatoes. Plenty to eat and everything was delicious.
Slow service.menu looks better than the actual quality presented unfortunately. Maybe we just had a poor experience?
Be your own judge in the matter.
Excellent. Ordered "lo carb" breakfast. It was an excellent omlet, sliced tomatoes, and cottage cheese. I haven't had cottage cheese in forever and it was a really good change.
We were visiting from Omaha and we were trying to find a new place to eat. We found this cute little place and decided to try it. The food was amazing! The service was good.
The food was great as usual, the manager was very cordial and apologized. However, if you go to eat here and get Emma for a waitress either run or request someone else. We waited an hour to be seated. Emma is the epitome of your typical millennial, who never refilled the coffee, or drinks. Never checked on us after food delivery, even though one of us did not receive our meal. Never apologized or explained her constraints. Stood at the bar not doing anything and once she figured out that we were getting upset, never came back to the table (even to cash us out) Emma, welcome to the workforce. Remember that you are being paid to serve your customers. Their cups should never be empty and you should always talk to them and follow up.
