The Bluffs at Brush Creek reviews
11This place is wonderful. Peaceful and friendly neighbors. Eva makes it the best experience ever. She was very kind then and now. Great community.
If your a college student looking for housing close to school really explore your options this place is probably not the worst but it’s not good. Overpriced like much of the housing market. Seems better than it truly is upon moving in, so I have to give it to the manager for selling the place. I stay in a studio and feels like I’m sleeping next to an open window. Maintenance is untimely and random. The parking lot is frustrating because there its gated, which is a nice, but the entrance and the exit are the same and only one car can fit in and out at a time making for frustrating situations. Positives are I can walk to campus and the appliances are new. That’s it. Edit to add I was told that the apartment would be incredibly easy to heat and cool, it is a small studio apartment, this is not the case at all. The large windows let in immense amounts of outside air no matter what. It’s difficult to keep cold air out in the winter and now that it’s hot, even with the window a/c it’s not as cool as you would expect a basement apartment to be. Also I was told that renovations were in progress, not complete, but I felt it was implied that renovations would be done soon after I moved in. Months later there are still work trucks and trailers in the lot taking up space and the end does not appear to be in sight, yet residents now have to get permits for themselves and any guests because apparently there’s not enough room in the parking lot.
I was also informed that this is exactly what I can expect whenever I rent an apartment so there’s no point and looking for something better by the apartment manager, who knows if this is true, but in fear that it is I am finding a way to never have to rent an apartment again, not one with a parking lot like this, not with the maintenance I’ve had to deal with, the loud and difficult neighbors, and the place in general. This place has ruined renting for me.
The best place and the best manager i could get here in the kansas city the manager eva jhonston she is the best manager i have known so far please contact her for any kind of help.
I love living here. The new gym and community room are a great addition. Great location and it is a gated community.
Great apartments at an awesome price (especially compared to the overpriced umkc on-campus housing). Maintenance is fast and will get any issues fixed quickly. It is on a quiet street and has a gate so unwanted foot traffic is minimal. Eva is a superstar property manager. Couldn't recommend it more
Terrible! That’s all i can say. Property manager, Eva, she doesn’t know what she is doing. She is helpless and useless. Please avoid this apt. Staff is unprofessional and they charge extremely a lot for rent.
Great Property with a beautiful view of the Plaza! Eva, the Property Manager, has been here the entire time I’ve lived here and it’s so nice that there’s isn’t any turnover. I’ll live here until I buy a house.
Love the renovations, the property is gated and community is quiet. The new pergola is awesome.
The bluffs is well maintained and is a resident first community. I am always greeted with a warm smile and if I have an issue (had a couple of small ones) i.e. Light bulbs and window draft they were very timely and responsive to my needs.
I have had the opportunity to reside in another community managed by the current team in the KC area and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The manager is kind, pleasant and always has the “resident first” mentality. If I could give 6 stars I would! Thanks again staff!
Eva is an amazing property manager, always has a smile on her face and is a delight to talk to! She always shows professionalism and is willing to go the extra mile for you! I love living here such wonderful people
Thank you again for everything that you've done for me. Far and away, my time at The Bluffs at Brush Creek was the most well managed and maintained facility I've lived at in the 14 years I've been living different places all over the country. I consider it as much a testament to your service as the facilities themselves.
