The Bone and Joint Center, Springfield MO

Can with my mother for an appointment which we drove over an hour to get to. We had a hard time finding the place and were 10 mins late. The receptionist went and talked to the Dr to see if she could be seen. No she came back and said 15 min no call no show you will have to reschedule.the Dr is booked all afternoon. But there wasn't Anyone in the waiting room.worst service ever

You cannot get a human being to answer a phone. If you drive there you might be able to make and appointment. This place has poor staffing, records, and nurses who are poor at needle sticks and do not know the basics of medicine. The rotating surgeons are good, if your can get to one of them. I have a family member with the same last name that has used this facility, they constantly get a call or a text about my appointments (the appointment information is specific), I will get calls from these family members telling me that I have an upcoming appointment (I don't get these messages), even when I have updated Cox's system (3 times, or the lady at the desk). Straight up HIPPA violation in most cases. I advise, Cox higher Professionals and pay them like professionals, because we all know our insurance pays you that way. A bunch of thieves.

Dr. George is an awesome Dr. He tells it like it is lol whether you want to hear it or not Dr Clauthesu is too I know I spelled that wrong

Would not recommend, … was not at all pleased with doctor hicks was rude and don’t know any more now than I knew when I walked in the place. Receptionist were the best ones for service I received.

I have been attempting to reach Dr Shippert office for two days. I have spent over an hour on hold and no one answers.

I have had the BEST 2 major surgeries a hip replacement and a knee replacement from Dr. David Hicks Orthopedic Surgeon! I was in so much pain. I was bone on bone with my left knee and also on my right hip. My pain level was pretty much always and 8 to 10. Since I had both surgeries, my pain is gone and from time to time, depending on the weather I get stiff, but that’s only because of the replacement that had to be replaced. His staff is very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to listen & help find a solution. Erin, Dr. Hicks physician assistant is AMAZING & knowledgeable. Without her and Dr Hicks, I honestly don’t know if I’d be walking or not. I love referring to everybody I know that needs surgery, I ALWAYS refer them to the Bone & Joint center to Dr. David Hicks, He is the BEST!
Thank you again for all you did for me. I appreciate you all for doing such an amazing job and following up with me as well after surgery, that truly means a lot.

The gentleman checking me in was fast, efficient, & professional. The wait time was very minimal. I was in & out, had x-rays, shot in my knee, & PT explained the exercises that I needed to do in around an hour! The Dr. & staff that I encountered were all efficient and professional. Very pleased.

I wanted to say something about the bone and joint clinic, my mom had an appointment at 1: 30 earlier today, so instead his office calls to set and appointment for January 5th to get a lousy shot, he nor his office both wanted to acknowledge she already had an appointment to see him today but I guess they decided not to see her just to see how bad she is, and didn't even give my mom the choice to go ahead and come in or set an appointment for January 5th, now what kinda of office that does that to patients, so the point is this doctor is going off a recent mri instead of actually keeping an appointment and seeing first hand how a patient is or is doing and I keep hearing bad reviews on this place at that, and after today I'm not too surprised.

Do not go to this place. Dr Joshua Brandon was rude and disrespectful to me and my Mom. I have special needs and this doctor came in acting hateful to me and my Mom. I was having anxiety about my knee cuz I dislocated it 2 weeks ago and this doctor acted like he couldn't even answer my questions. Everyone should be treated how they want to be treated and I think that this doctor did not treat me or my Mom with respect. So I give this place a -100%

This place was extremely rude and I had to wait over a hour to see a doctor and i had to ask a nurse if a doctor was coming in. The doctor was rude and treated us like we were a inconvenience to him. My child is special needs and treated us both so badly. The front desk people were not nice. Please go somewhere else if you want good bed side manners and respect.

One of the most pleasant experiences I've had in a medical facility. Everyone was friendly, kind, helpful and compassionate. No long waits either.
