The Cheesecake Factory reviews
19Burnt burgers, no one cared. I shouldve just gave the $50 to the homeless man outside and skipped Cheesecake Factory. Who is on your grill?
Wonderful place to eat with a great view of the Plaza especially during Christmas. All of their food and desserts are amazing. We always get our cheesecake to-go because we're so full.
Was looking forward to Cheescake Factory! Made our order online and went to pick it up, staying in a cute little airbnb 5 minutes away.
Well thats where everything went horribly wrong!
Both burgers were BLACKENED. I tried to make the best of a bad situation and took a few more bites but alas, had to threw in the towel, those hard briquettes beat me. Ive been to CF in several different states and have NEVER had food this inedible. The thing that stuck in my craw, besides the charcoal, was that the employee on the grill KNEW those were burnt beyond recognition. But sold them anyway. It has literally turned me off the restaurant.
I tried to call and complain but the manager never came to the line. Emailed the contact on the website, but of course, crickets. Youve lost your biggest fan CF!
Great Service and food, the wait times are a little unexpected at times but worth the wait.
Not my fave. Service was great and the wait was really long (1.5 hrs) for Saturday night. I'm glad it's on the Plaza with shops to visit while waiting.
We have eaten here many times, always excellent good and service. Today we stopped in to get cheesecake to bring to a friend. Their cheesecake is always phenomenal!
I just went to pick up a few slices of yummy cheesecake the line was long but sooooo worth the wait. I got the Oreo cheesecake and the pineapple upside down cheesecake! They are so delicious.
Put my name on the list and was told about twenty people were ahead of me and it would be 45/60 minutes. An hour and a half later the hostess tells my husband and I it’ll be another hour because they “needed to seat an 8 top and used our table”. Love the food but the hostesses working tonight (11/27) not only gave us total disrespect but gave away our table. Awful service.
One of my favorite places in KC! The only red flag for Cheesecake Factory is the menu, which is as long as a novel:) The famous Mac and Cheese Ball is the most delicious starter I have ever had. However, it is pretty heavy for an appetizer, and I prefer to share it with my partner. For the main course, my favorites are Mac and Cheese Burger, Mushroom Burger, Chicken Parmesan, Famous Factory Meatloaf, Carne Asada Steak, Grilled Rib-eye Steak, and California Cheesesteak. And finally, about the cheesecakes! I love the original one. It is simply the most delicious cheesecake on the menu!
Don't forget to give the pricy cocktails a shot. My suggestion is the sexiest one on the menu; Red Raspberry.
Cheesecake factory is an interesting place, they have a massive menu but, unfortunately it feels like because they have that massive menu they don't really do anything spectacular. The food was I would say mediocre and also you are sat really really close to other people which is kind of unfortunate in the current climate. Overall 3/5 probably won't be back as there's nothing to really want to go back for.
Always a great meal. We had angel hair pasta with shrimp, salmon with lemon sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the Carolina salmon - which my husband loved. Generous portions and chocolate cheesecake to go! Yum! Worth the 40-min wait.
Ordered via door dash about 30 minutes before the restaurant was closed, they accepted and confirmed our order, then they canceled our order 15 minutes after close. Will never order from them again. Zero stars.
We stopped by The Cheescake Factory, to enjoy their well-known and delicious cakes. It was a freezing afternoon, 4pm. I said: "lets go for the afternoon tea/coffee with a cake, to get warmer! No coffee, no tea, no hot chocolate, NOTHING HOT in winter to enjoy a piece of cake?
At the top of it, I chose piece of Dulce de Leche Cheesecake. No way! They thing caramel is Dulce de Leche? They should consider a better recipe for it. Leaving far away from the country were Dulce de Leche was created, I can say: That is not dulce de leche! It was delicious anyway, but not dulce de leche. I couldnt eat it in the restaurant, because the lack of hot drink, but I brought it home, and I ate it all! Come on Cheesfactory buy a coffe machine!
No Bang for your buck the food was Bland. Even though the restaurant was empty they sat another couple right next to us during covid. Server did an excellent job.
Son got a burger. Burnt beyond belief. Gf got romano chicken. Bland as paper. Steak Diane overcooked and underwhelming, chicken Madeira nasty af and relies on the overbearing sauce. Overpriced cheesecake is the only thing worth coming for I guess. Service was fine, not exceptional.
When we arrived we were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. Then we found the table was dirty with stuff smeared on it, the silverware was dirty, and the clam chowder was warm. Ian was excellent as our waiter, but there is only so much he can do. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the experience.
Been here several times, and always had good food. Wait times can be a bit long for dinner, but it's usually worth it. Giant menu with plenty of options.
It's a very nice place to eat a fancier dinner food was very good a little dark and parking is not fun
There's just too much great delicacies to only have one choice, so I got three.
Will definitely be booking for my Birthday.
