Love the events and the organizer of the event - Ian. Definitely ask Ian for a recommendation when there’s wine and pops. And Tesherry is always there to greet you warmly at the Dorchester front desk. I’ll miss them two after I move out!

For the reviews below, are you Asian? Are you minorities? If not, why are you assuming your role of representing and commenting on their experiences? And, are you trying to educate minorities on what racism should be? Some of you are saying that if the front desk doesn't greet Asians, it's because they don't say hi first. What kind of victim-blaming is that? You are indirectly supporting and perpetuating racism.

The review below is simply not true. The international students have been welcomed to the building by both staff and year round residents. Claims of racism need to be taken seriously, I'd like to know more about this claim. Matter as a fact the students often choose to walk by the front desk staff without so much as a hello, yet expect staff to drop everything when they have an issue such as being locked out. Yes there are some issues in the building with water, heat, etc, however staff always does their best to resolve the issue for all residents regardless of who they are.

This place is racist to people of Chinese descents. These staff in the building will ignore you if you’re Chinese.

Stars for Maintenance staff.
Heater always breaks in the coldest days, when I mean it’s 10 degree or even worse. And air conditioning doesn’t work in the hottest days.
Price is really high considering the apartment and comparing with spray menus nearby.
Please don’t stay here!

Ian is such a wonderful young man who hosts these fantastic events at the Dorchester! They are usually themed, with great food, and generally turn up 60-70 individuals. He is such a gregarious young man with a very bright future!
