Hotel The Fontaine reviews
15Absolutely loved the ambience of the restaurant, the music was very versatile and the drinks and food were great. Our waiter MJ was fantastic and made sure we were well token care of, lovely place to have a couple outing or a group setting.
What an amazing experience! It was like being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Such great service and drinks. Candice was great.
Great hotel and a great staff. Real nice bar with cool heated igloos to hangout in when it’s cold.
Absolutely STAY here if you're in the area! Had a wonderful and comfortable stay while traveling. Friendly staff, extremely clean, comfortable beds. Everything is top knotch
I stayed at the Fontaine at the end of November 2022 and my experience was mixed. The hotel looks nice and relatively clean, however upon using the bathroom I discovered that the toilet did not flush. We called reception who quickly sorted the issue out. What I found to be a big let down and put me off my stay was the pungent smell of cannibas coming from the room we were staying in. I would have expected the cleaners to pick up on this when preparing the room and take necessary steps to eliminate the smell. This was clearly not done.
We just arrived, but the bartender MJ has made our stay start out great! She really showed hospitality and excellent service!
The room was gorgeous and had a great view. The location was great. Food from the hotel restaurant was excellent. But the best part was the top notch service at the bar and restaurant from MJ and Lydia! They made great conversation and drink recommendations! We enjoyed staying at the Fontaine so much that we extended our one night trip into two.
Extremely underwhelming stay followed by an even worse customer service experience when trying to retrieve a garment that was left behind. Two weeks, a handful of calls and a couple of unanswered voicemails later, said garment was never found even though we notified the front desk of the incident within three hours of checking out. Even at a discounted rate, I STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere.
Really great staff and beautiful rooms. Great location to walk over to the plaza as well! We had stayed at this same location prior, when it was under different ownership, and didn’t have more than a neutral opinion of the place but now definitely positive! We were traveling with our 18 month old daughter and several times the staff helped accommodate our requests or answer questions and were so friendly.
Just a beautiful place to stay. Clean. Unfortunately the 7th floor lounge was too packed to get into on this Friday night. I’m not sure if it takes reservations. Staff are awesome!
One of my favorite locations because it is within walking distance from the Plaza. I also enjoy their bar and restaurant on the upper floors.
I was really excited to check out The Fontaine and enjoy the amenities. The hotel bars close early (I want to say on a Saturday night they closed at 10 (I just wanted a nightcap!). Trying to navigate the bar/restaurant hours and where to get food and drink via the website was not clearly stated. So I called to ask or make reservations and the operator had no idea with my question and sent me to their kitchen line, which kept ringing until I gave up.
There was a huge stain on the furniture in the room I was in. It felt like a hotel that was once luxury, but has dialed back on the actual luxury items. No filled minibar, no bathrobes. It was comparable to any Holiday Inn Express visit. I'd consider this place 2 star at best regarding luxury. I really wanted to like this place, but it was just ok. I won't be returning.
A nice little boutique hotel in the plaza area! Bed is very comfortable with a nice amenities in bathroom. A hotel robe is so soft and perfect to have with coffee on the balcony in the morning! Love the small breakfast/coffee area on the lobby floor and the small courtyard outside.
We went out for a night to enjoy some drinks and bites for Halloween and we ended up at the Fountaine, had a great experience and got to try some new Halloween themed drinks! MJ was bartending and provided exceptional service to me and my lady. I also asked for the Fontaine Water to be put back on the menu permanently.my first time at the Fontaine rooftop. They had it and I had about eight of them by myself. It’s literally the best drink I’ve ever had please bring it back.
